摘要: In a method to execute a pause in an ink printing system printing operation in which a printing substrate web is printed with print bars having print heads, with aid of a take-up roller moving the printing substrate web at printing speed past the print bars in a transfer printing zone in order to generate print images. Upon triggering the pause, a strain state of the printing substrate web is measured at a beginning of the pause and stored as a desired strain state. During the pause, the strain state of the printing substrate web is measured as a real strain state at selectable points in time, and the real strain state is compared with desired strain state. Given a deviation of the real strain state from the desired strain state, at the selectable points in time the take-up roller is controlled so that the strain state of the printing substrate web assumes the desired strain state at the beginning of the pause. After an end of the pause, the printing substrate web is transported with the take-up roller at the printing speed again.

摘要: In a method to execute a pause function of an ink printing system wherein a printing substrate web is printed with a printing unit with print bars having print heads, a real value of a web tension of the printing substrate web is measured with a web tension sensor. In a printing operation the real value of the web tension is regulated to a predetermined desired operating value of the web tension. With triggering of the pause function, the web tension is further regulated by modifying the desired value of the web tension so that the printing substrate web assumes a position at the print heads after an end of the pause function that it had before a beginning of the pause function. After the end of the pause function, the real value of the web tension is regulated again to the desired operating value of the web tension.

摘要: In a method to remove toner deposits on a surface of a cleaning element, electrically charged toner particles are transferred from a carrier surface to an intermediate carrier. On the cleaning element, untransferred, electrically charged toner particles as residual toner from the carrier surface are received. Electrically charged toner particles on the cleaning element are directed past an electrode arrangement arranged at a distance from the surface of the cleaning element. An alternating electrical field is generated which acts on the toner particles to loosen them. The toner particles remaining on the surface of the cleaning element are brought into contact with a mixture of carrier particles and toner particles during further transport along a transport direction of the cleaning element.

摘要: In a developer station for a printer or copier, a rotating developer roller is provided having a mixture of toner particles and ferromagnetic carrier particles accumulated on a surface of the developer roller as a layer, and a transfer zone at which the toner particles are transferred away from the developer roller. A smoothing device is provided with a smoothing element arranged before the transfer zone, the smoothing element being charged with a mechanical tension in a rest state of the developer roller and designed such that it exerts a force on and over an entire width of the layer formed by the mixture of the toner particles and the carrier particles present on the developer roller and smoothes the layer before the transfer of the toner particles. Within the developer roller at least one magnet is provided. The smoothing element comprises a magnetizable material attracted toward said at least one magnet to create said mechanical tension.
