Abstract: An electronic device includes a plurality of sensor-amplifier-filter (SAF) assemblies. Each SAF assembly includes a neuromuscular-signal sensor configured to detect a neuromuscular signal, a stage-one amplifier configured to amplify the neuromuscular signal into a stage-one signal, and a passive filter configured to filter the stage-one signal into a filtered signal. The electronic device includes a multiplexer configured to receive a plurality of filtered signals from the plurality of SAF assemblies, output a first filtered signal of the plurality of received filtered signals as a multiplexed signal while a select signal has a first value, and output a second filtered signal of the plurality of received filtered signals as the multiplexed signal while the select signal has a second value. A stage-two amplifier is configured to amplify the multiplexed signal into a stage-two signal. The electronic device includes an analog-to-digital converter configured to convert the stage-two signal into a digital signal.

Abstract: A wearable device includes an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) configured to digitize biopotential signals received from biopotential-signal-sensing channels. The wearable device also includes a supplementary processor that samples the digital biopotential signals from the ADC. The supplementary processor sends the digital biopotential signals to a buffer until a determination is made that a particular number of the digital biopotential signals is stored in the buffer. Additionally, the supplementary processor transmits an indication to a primary processor that the particular number of the digital biopotential signals is stored in the buffer. In addition to the ADC and the supplementary processor, the wearable device includes the aforementioned primary processor. The primary processor is configured to operate in a low-power mode before receiving the indication and, after receiving the indication, process the particular number of digital biopotential signals from the buffer to detect in-air hand gestures performed by a user of the wearable device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a smart streaming device are disclosed herein. The smart streaming device is controlled based on a position of an ultra-wideband (UWB) device. Based on the position of the UWB device, one or more service events for the smart streaming device can be conducted. For example, a privacy mode of the smart streaming device can be enabled or disabled based on the position of the UWB device. In another example, a distance can be determined between the smart streaming device and the position of the UWB device. Based on the distance, an output configuration of the smart streaming device can be set, such as dynamically adjusting volume or text size on the smart streaming device.
