    摘要: An adapter (21) for a self-drilling, chemically anchorable fastening element (11) is described, having a shank (12) with a first end (13) on which a drill bit head (16) is provided, and with a second, free end (14), the second end (14) of the shank (12) being provided with a threadlike outer profile (15). The adapter (21) which may be placed on the second, free end (14) of the shank (12) has an external engagement device on one end for a rotary tool receptacle of a drill which is to be used, a base section provided on the other end at a distance from the engagement means, and a hollow cylindrical connecting sleeve section which connects the base section and the engagement device. The connecting sleeve section has a threadlike inner profile which corresponds to the threadlike outer profile (15) on the shank (12). The adapter (21) is formed by a first element part (22) and a second element part (32) which are detachably connected to one another via a clutch device (41).
