摘要： A permanent magnet alternator includes a permanent magnet alternator stator attached to a housing. A shaft is rotatable with respect to the housing with a permanent magnet alternator rotor attached to the shaft. The permanent magnet alternator rotor is positioned with respect to the permanent magnet alternator stator so as to generate electricity when the shaft rotates. A cooling fan is also attached to the shaft and is positioned in a gas flow path for flowing air through the gas flow path.

A shaft is rotatable with respect to the housing with a permanent magnet alternator rotor attached to the shaft. The permanent magnet alternator rotor is positioned with respect to the permanent magnet alternator stator so as to generate electricity when the shaft rotates. A cooling fan is also attached to the shaft and is positioned in a gas flow path for flowing air through the gas flow path.

摘要： An engine bearing compartment is provided and includes an engine casing defining a discharge pathway for a fluid to drain from the engine bearing compartment, a shaft rotatably disposed within the engine casing to define an annulus, a housing disposed within the annulus below an elevation of the discharge pathway, an impeller rotatable with the shaft and including a centrifugal element, the impeller being disposed within the annulus at least partially below the discharge pathway elevation whereby, due to impeller rotation, the centrifugal element expels the fluid through the discharge pathway from the annulus above the discharge pathway elevation and a circuit by which fluid expelled through the discharge pathway is communicated to an interior of the housing.

摘要： A centrifugal pump with a volute and at least one stage with an associated impeller and removable diffuser assembly comprises: multiple diffuser segments, each diffuser segment comprising a central passage from an inner curvilinear surface to an outer curvilinear surface and a curvilinear leading engagement surface between a leading end of its curvilinear inner surface and its curvilinear outer surface; multiple curvilinear volute mounting surfaces within the volute, each curvilinear mounting surface receiving a corresponding diffuser segment to mount the diffuser segments in a generally annular pattern about the impeller to form the removable diffuser assembly, with the curvilinear inner surface of each diffuser segment proximate an outer periphery of the impeller and the curvilinear leading engagement surface of each diffuser segment engaging a trailing portion of the curvilinear outer surface of an adjacent one of the diffuser segments; and a volute connecting passage within the volute for coupling the central passages of each diffuser segment to a pump outlet.
