The camera emulation server produces a logical digital video stream emulating a real video surveillance camera, in which the logical digital video stream includes data other than original video surveillance data. The camera emulation server provides the logical digital video stream to a video management server via a packet-switched network for integration with a real digital video stream that includes video surveillance data captured by a remote physical video surveillance camera. The video management server routes the logical digital video stream and the real digital video stream to a video receiving device for simultaneous display in respective window panes configured in a tiled format on at least one display device of the video receiving device.

    摘要: A capability is provided for using boarding passes to apply business rules for travelers. The information encoded in a region of a boarding pass of a traveler is read or otherwise accessed. The information from the encoded region of the boarding pass is propagated toward a system configured for determining whether to apply a business rule for the traveler. The system receives the information from the encoded region of a boarding pass of the traveler, and determines whether to apply a business rule for the traveler using at least a portion of the information from the encoded region of the boarding pass. The system, upon identifying a business rule to apply for the traveler, initiates a process for applying the business rule for the traveler. A business rule may indicate that an account of the traveler is to be credited or debited. A business rule may indicate that the traveler is entitled to remuneration, such as money, coupons, vouchers, discounts, offers, loyalty points, and the like.

    摘要: An IP telephone appliance providing secure voice communication and data transmission for itself and other IP devices and applications associated with it. The IP telephone appliance incorporates a processor for converting voice signals received from a user into VoIP packets, and an IPSec stack encoding packets prior to transmission. The IP telephone appliance also encodes packets on behalf of other devices and applications prior to transmitting the packets to a destination. When encoded voice or data packets are received from a source device, the IP telephone appliance decodes the packets and determines their destination. If the IP telephone appliance is the ultimate destination, the voice/data packets are converted to voice/telephony signals and provided to the user. Otherwise, if the ultimate destination is another device on the network, the IP telephone appliance forwards the decoded packets to the ultimate destination.

In one embodiment, the real-time collaboration center is able to create a new real-time collaboration session for a caller where the caller is routed to the real-time collaboration session in which they might be joined by an automated call center agent which could provide product information and/or gather information to/from the caller while they wait for the live call center agent. When a live call center agent with the appropriate skill set becomes available, then he/she receives an invitation to join the real-time collaboration session where the two parties can then interact with voice, instant messaging, application/desktop sharing, and other media.
