摘要: Systems, methods and computer-readable media for creating and using video analysis rules that are based on map data are disclosed. A sensor(s), such as a video camera, can track and monitor a geographic location, such as a road, pipeline, or other location or installation. A video analytics engine can receive video streams from the sensor, and identify a location of the imaged view in a geo-registered map space, such as a latitude-longitude defined map space. A user can operate a graphical user interface to draw, enter, select, and/or otherwise input on a map a set of rules for detection of events in the monitored scene, such as tripwires and areas of interest. When tripwires, areas of interest, and/or other features are approached or crossed, the engine can perform responsive actions, such as generating an alert and sending it to a user.

摘要: An image processing system includes a dual lens module and a processor. The dual lens module captures a pair of images. The processor generates a depth map of the pair of images. The processor generates a pixel depth distribution histogram according to the depth map. The processor calculates a pixel depth mean and a pixel depth variance according to the pixel depth distribution histogram. The processor determines whether the pixel depth mean is within a distance range and determines whether the pixel depth variance is smaller than a first threshold or larger than a second threshold, so as to determine that the dual lens module is situated in a normal state or an abnormal state.

摘要: An image monitoring system includes: recording means for recording an image captured by a camera via a network; control means for controlling the system so as to display the present image captured by the camera or a past image recorded on the recording means on display means; and moving-object detecting means for detecting a moving object from the image captured by the camera; wherein the moving-object detecting means includes resolution conversion means for generating an image with a resolution lower than the resolution of the image captured by the camera, positional-information output means for detecting a moving object from the image generated by the resolution conversion means and outputting positional information on the detected moving object, and information merging means for merging the positional information of the moving object with the image captured by the camera on the basis of the positional information of the moving object output by the positional-information output means.

摘要: An image monitoring system includes a recorder that records an image captured by a camera via a network. The system is controlled to display the present image captured by the camera or a past image recorded on the recorder. A moving object is detected from the image captured by the camera, the detector including a resolution converter for generating an image with a resolution lower than the resolution of the image captured by the camera. A moving object is detected from the image generated by the resolution converter and positional information on the detected moving object is output. The positional information of the detected moving object is merged with the image captured by the camera on the basis of the positional information.

摘要: A method to facilitate management of surveillance devices is provided. The method stores map data defining a geographic map of the monitored region. Assets of interest are located and surveillance devices (SDs) are installed. The method creates and stores surveillance device related (SDR) objects. The method maps the SDR objects to surveillance device specific content that includes at least one of: SD position information, asset position information, SD data and SD documentation. The method determines device markers to be illustrated and maps the device markers to the SDR objects. The method presents a geographic map of the monitored region with device markers. The device markers indicate positions of the surveillance devices relative to the geographic map. The method provides a user interface to permit a user to select from the surveillance devices by choosing the corresponding device markers.

摘要: A system and method for monitoring sensors via surveillance cameras is disclosed. In the system, surveillance cameras generating image data of scenes, where the sensors are included in the scenes. The sensors detect information concerning the scenes and encode the information so that it can be derived from the image data. Preferably, the sensors encode the information concerning the scenes by modulating a visible light source, the signals of which are captured within the image data by the cameras. An analytics system then analyzes the image data and decodes the information from the sensors encoded within the image data. Preferably, an integrated analytics system of the cameras executes the analysis. Exemplary sensors include sensors for detecting temperature, moisture, audio/voice, and product selection in a retail premises.

摘要: A method for exchanging data between an IP video camera using an embedded video analytics and an external server comprises generating at least one video frame by said IP video camera; converting the video frame to a digital form by said IP video camera; processing the converted video frame via an IP processor; video cameras, using computer vision techniques, then creating metadata, transferring the received metadata to an external server for further use. The generated metadata is stored in the camera's IP storage, and then the stored metadata is read by the server. The metadata is stored in the DBMS of the IP video camera, the search query to the DBMS is received from the external server, the search query from the external server is processed in the DBMS, and the search results are transferred from the DBMS to the external server.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for recording video data of an event. The apparatuses include a processor communicating with memory. The memory stores video data of the event captured by a camera, and the video data includes a series of picture frames of the event. A loop buffer also stores video data of the event captured by the camera. A rule-based engine stored in the memory uses a set of rules to store the contents of the loop buffer in the memory. The apparatus utilizes the loop buffer to provide video data prior to occurrence of the event.

摘要: To achieve an object of reducing a burden of running costs such as communication cost and management cost for recorded data of a monitoring site as much as possible, according to an embodiment, there is provided a monitoring system including: an imaging apparatus configured to acquire the recorded data of the monitoring site; an information processing apparatus configured to control recording of the recorded data; and an external storage apparatus configured to store the recorded data. The imaging apparatus transmits verification data to the information processing apparatus, the verification data being obtained by extracting, out of the recorded data, the profile, the evaluation value, the value detected by the first sensor, and the value detected by the second sensor. The information processing apparatus transmits, to the imaging apparatus, an instruction to transmit the recorded data based on the profile when an abnormality in the monitoring site is detected.
