In a method for producing such a gradient coil assembly, a gradient coil and a cooling structure are flexibly attached to a flexible carrier, with the cooling structure being in thermally conducting contact with the gradient coil.

摘要： A nuclear magnetic resonance tomography apparatus has a magnet assembly with a first surface and a gradient coil assembly with a second surface, with an annular gap between these surfaces. A noise-reduction arrangement for damping the oscillations of the gradient coil assembly and/or for stiffening the gradient coil assembly is disposed in this gap in contact with the first and second surfaces. The noise-reducing arrangement can be composed of one or more components, and has contact surfaces, formed by one or more components, respectively in substantially surface-wide contact with the first and second surfaces of the tomography apparatus.

摘要： A tesseral gradient coil is composed of at least two coil segments spaced in axial direction, each coil segment being composed of at least two windings symmetrically arranged relative to a middle line of an interior of the nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus. Each winding has an outer winding part, lying on a larger radius around the middle axis and an inner part lying on a smaller radius around the middle axis of the interior. The two winding parts are oppositely traversed by current. The number of ampere-turns of the outer winding part of each winding is lower than the number of ampere-turns of the inner winding part.

摘要： A patient support apparatus has a stationary lower part and a displaceable upper part carrying a patient. The upper part has a guide surface which is curved in sectional plane, and the lower part has a guide surface matched to this curve. Outlet nozzles for air are provided in the guide surface of the lower part so that an air gap and an air cushion are produced between the guide surface of the lower part and the upper part by means of an air flow. The upper part, with a patient thereon, can be displaced in a longitudinal direction, perpendicular to the sectional plane, by riding on the air cushion.
