    摘要： Advanced communications features are provided in a mobile communications network having at least one mobile switching center and at least one mobile station subsystem. The mobile switching center and mobile station subsystem each communicate signaling messages according to a mobile signaling protocol. An indication is received that a half-duplex mobile communications session is to be initiated between a first mobile station subsystem and a second mobile station subsystem. The first and second mobile station subsystems include full-duplex communications apparatus for use in full-duplex mobile communications sessions. The half-duplex mobile communications session relies on the first and second mobile station subsystems, and all of the reliance is only on the full-duplex communications apparatus. Mobile communications telephone calls are established with the first mobile station subsystem and the second mobile station subsystem. One of the first and second mobile station subsystems is selected as a voice signal source in the half-duplex communications session.

    摘要： The principle object of the present invention, is to provide flexibility in the routing functions performed in the switching system. Another object is to provide a router that can be centralized in a host computer or distributed among various switching nodes. The router is easily programmable by the system operator to provide different routing algorithms for various calls. The router can be used in a system with a single switching node. However, it is particularly adopted for use in a multiple-switching-node system, either as a central, host resident unit, or as a distributed router resident on the switching nodes. A router embodying the invention uses router tables that are readily configurable by the system operator to route calls based on predefined routing criterion in the incoming or outgoing call.

    摘要： A signaling system embodying the invention includes, at each SSP, a signaling unit containing a message configuration template containing an entry for each type of message. Each entry contains the complete format for the corresponding message type. For incoming messages, the signaling unit also includes, for each voice channel (CIC) multiple finite state machines which manage operations associated with each of the message types that are involved in CIC control. When a message is received, the message type field in the message is used to identify the message type and invoke the operation of the associated state machine. The state machine then parses the message and performs the operations required by the message.

    摘要： Systems, methods, and apparatuses are provided for securely receiving packages or items from a delivery service and stopping porch pirates from stealing the packages or items. A single door or multi-door embodiment selectively allows access to a lockable box so that a delivery service can place packages or items in the lockable box that a purchaser can later retrieve. The lockable box can have a locking system with rotatable key combinations, temporary key combinations, and/or other features that allow a delivery service to selectively access the lockable box. Some embodiments also integrate the lockable box into existing features of a residence such as a door.
