Abstract:
A log carriage employs a fixed knee and a second, movable knee adapted to move along at least a portion of the length of a log, to enable optimal positioning and minimizing knee interference with scanning of the log.
Abstract:
A fireplace mantel mounting system including a mantel and a laterally adjustable support. The mantel and the support include cooperating hardware sets enabling the mantel to be hung on the support. The support defines a horizontal slot for receiving fasteners for attaching the support to a wall. The horizontal slots permit lateral adjustment of the support facilitate centering of the support on a fireplace opening. After the support is attached to the wall in the proper position, the mantel is hung on the support by way of the cooperating hardware sets.

Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer-readable media provide for generating XML files from mainframe data. According to embodiments, a method for generating Extensible Markup Language (XML) files from mainframe data is provided. According to the method, at least one mainframe data file is received. Data is extracted from the at least one mainframe data file according to at least one selection criteria. At least one XML tag is appended to the extracted data to generate at least one XML file.
Abstract:
A garment hanger (10) and a resilient indicia tag (30) wherein the garment hanger comprises a web (40) arranged to latch the indicia tag thereto. The web defines an aperture (45) therethrough. The indicia tag (30) is substantially U-shaped in cross-section having a first leg (31) and a second leg (32) opposed to the first leg arranged such that the web (40) is receivable between the first leg and the second leg. A cooperating latch (451, 33) is provided on the web and on an inner face of the first leg for latching the indicia tag to the web. With the indicia tag (30) latched to the web (40) an inner face of the first leg (31) is accessible through the aperture (45) to a tool resiliently to flex at least a portion of the first leg away from the web such that the latching means mutually disengage.
Abstract:
Systems and methods provide for identifying, tracking, and coordinating the processing of natural materials in a process. The unit material is scanned to determine natural physical characteristics. At least portions of these scanned characteristics are quantified and classified, then recorded as the unique identifier for the unit. The material may then be stored, shipped, or transferred to a further process, where the material is once again scanned for natural characteristics, compared to a library of previously recorded units and their characteristics, then processed, inventoried, tracked, or invoiced based on previous data associated with this specific unit, thereby eliminating the need for bar coding or other physical marking methods.
Abstract:
A foot-pedal operated cart includes a dual derailleur transmission system operated by a pair of multi-function control handles. The control handles each include a pair of hand-operated actuators for controlling a ratchet and pawl mechanism for respectively indexing the derailleurs over a pair of speed change sprocket clusters. The control handles are also connected to a steering system and braking system to allow a driver to control each system via the control handles.
Abstract:
The systems and methods disclosed herein address issues of cost and weight that prevent other threat detection systems intended to detect and identify locations of incoming munitions fire such as RPGs, anti-tank missiles, and other such weapons, from being used more broadly. Systems and methods disclosed herein relate, in part, to a portable, optical sensor that has a 360-degree horizontal field of view and a selectable vertical field of view that can cover up to 90 degrees. Variations of systems and methods discussed herein are meant for use and transport by an individual or group of individuals, and do not require significant support electronics or power supplies in excess of a typical car-battery in size and weight. Other embodiments may be vehicle mounted, or may be further enhanced to work with other detection or response systems.
