    Abstract: A multi-function hand control for a vehicle includes a housing configured for support on a handlebar having an inboard end, an outboard end, and a front surface configured to face a vehicle operator. A plurality of buttons are configured for operation by the vehicle operator's thumb with the operator's hand positioned adjacent the outboard end of the housing, the plurality of buttons including an inboard button, an outboard button, and a center button between the inboard and outboard buttons. Each one of the plurality of buttons is operable from an at-rest position to an activated position by directly pressing inward on an outer surface thereof. The inboard button is additionally operable from its at-rest position to its activated position by pressing an outboard portion of the center button in a direction toward the inboard button.

    Abstract: Various electric scooters are disclosed that include a battery receptacle configured to releasably retain a rechargeable battery therein. The electric scooter may include a deck and a strut extending between the deck and a rotatable shaft connected to a handlebar assembly. The battery receptacle may be supported by the strut, and the battery may be insertable into and removed from the battery receptacle through translation of the battery in a direction substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the strut. The battery may be configured for use in a power tool in addition to the electric scooter.

    Abstract: A cable routing system of a bicycle, including a stem having a receiving space and an engaging hole communicating with the receiving space, a frame, a fork, an expander, and at least one cable. A head tube of the frame has a top portion having an upper mounting hole and a bottom portion having a lower mounting hole. The fork sequentially passes through the lower mounting hole, the upper mounting hole, and the engaging hole to be connected to the stem. The expander is disposed in a steering tube of the fork and has at least one cable passage communicating with the receiving space and the engaging hole. The cable extends into the steering tube from outside by passing through the receiving space and the cable passage. An end of the cable is connected to a bicycle controller, and another end thereof is connected to a bicycle component.

    Abstract: A driver assistance system 1 for a motorcycle is provided with: a driving force output device 82 that generates a backup output for reversing a drive wheel and backing up a vehicle body; a brake lever 810 squeezably operable by a rider; a ACC main switch 43 and an ACC lever 44 operable by the rider; and a back out assistance controller 64 that controls the driving force output device 82 on the basis of the operation of the lever 810, the switch 43, and the lever 44. The back out assistance controller 64, after causing the driving force output device 82 to generate the backup output when triggered by receiving an operation of turning the lever 44 to a “SET/−” side, continues to cause the backup output to be generated until the lever 810 is operated, or until the switch 43 or lever 44 is turned off.
