Abstract:
A wheel having a rim with first and second rim seats, at least the first rim seat having a generatrix, the axially outer end of which is on a circle of diameter less than the diameter of the circle on which the axially inner end is located, the first rim seat being extended axially outward by a low protrusion or hump and axially inward by a bearing surface intended to receive a tread support ring, and a wheel disk, joined on the side of the first rim seat to the radially inner wall of the rim, characterized in that the rim bearing surface includes first and second support zones separated by a circumferential groove which opens radially outward.
Abstract:
A wheel, having first and second bead seats which are inclined towards the outside and a cylindrical wall intended for supporting a support ring, constituted by the assembly of: a disc comprising a hub bearing surface, a transition zone and a radially outer edge, the geometry of which constitutes the first seat and a first part of the cylindrical wall, and a rim comprising a plurality of cavities and being such that its radially outer wall corresponds to the second seat and to the complementary part of the cylindrical wall; the assembly being effected at the end of the rim on the side of the disc at the level of the cylindrical wall, on one hand, and at the level of the end of the radially inner wall of the rim, on the other hand.
Abstract:
An assembly including a deformable, inextensible tread-bearing support S, which can be slipped on to a suitable rim bearing surface (11). The bearing surface (11) extends axially towards the inside of a first rim seat (13null), which is in turn extended to the outside by a protrusion or hump (15null) of low height. The first rim seat (13null) is inclined towards the outside. A second rim seat (13null) having, viewed in meridian section, a generatrix, the axially inner end of which is located on a circle of diameter DnullA greater than the diameter of the circle on which is located the axially inner end DnullA of the first rim seat (13null). The two seats being, axially to the inside, extended by frustoconical portions (17, 14) of a height at least equal to 0.01 times the minimum diameter of the bearing surface (11), and the generatrices of which form with the axis of rotation angles null at least equal to 45null. The rim bearing surface (11) is provided with at least one circumferential protuberance (115) arranged in a circumferential groove (30) of the radially inner face of the tread bearing support S, such that the protuberance (115) axially comes to bear and butt up against at least one lateral wall of the groove (30).
