    摘要: An image-taking apparatus including an auxiliary light projecting section that is small in size in spite of using multiple projection elements and is capable of performing extensive illumination to a range including parallax while maintaining a certain degree of brightness until reaching a given distance, and a projection module suitable for being loaded on the image-taking apparatus are provided. This apparatus projects light from three light points onto an object in a projection pattern shown in part (b) of FIG. 11 by use of a lens split into three regions. The light from the three light points is formed respectively into three beams by use of each of projecting sections subjected to region splitting, and single light beams out of sets of three beams are projected so as to overlap one another.

    摘要: A digital camera includes a distortion correction section, which is composed of a focal length determining section, a distortion evaluation section and a correction amount calculating section. The focal length determining section evaluates a focal length at the time of image capture. Based on the focal length, the distortion evaluation section evaluates the magnitude of wide-angle distortion and optical distortion in a captured image. Based on this evaluation, the distortion correction section selects an appropriate coefficient from an optical distortion correction coefficient table or a wide-angle distortion correction coefficient table. Using the selected coefficient, the correction amount calculating section applies a coordinate transform processing to cause positive or negative distortion to the captured image, and corrects the wide-angle distortion or the optical distortion.

    摘要: A zoom lens having a variable image magnification, for introducing object light from an object side toward a light receiving surface on an optical axis, is provided. An objective lens system has a positive refractive power, and includes a prism for reflecting the object light being incident to guide the object light on the optical axis, and an aperture stop control device for passing the object light, the objective lens system forming an intermediate image by focusing the object light nearer to the object side than the light receiving surface. A relay lens system has a positive refractive power, includes plural lens groups movable on the optical axis, is disposed behind the objective lens system as viewed from the object side, for zooming and refocusing the intermediate image. Also, a distance between the plural lens groups is shortest in zoom setting in the telephoto end position.

    摘要: A camera may be set in either a standard photograph mode or a panoramic mode. In the standard photograph mode, the field of view of a viewfinder is masked on opposite horizontal sides, and the magnification of a taking lens is set at a value at which a photographic field corresponding to the masked field of view is taken in a standard-size frame. In the panoramic mode, the field of view is unmasked while the magnification of the viewfinder is maintained unchanged, and the magnificaiton of the taking lens is set at another value at which a photographic field corresponding to the unmasked field of view is taken in a panoramic-size area which is reduced in height from the standard-size frame and is used for making a panoramic-size photo-print.

    摘要: A camera view finder having at least two types of finder field frames such as a full-size field frame and a panoramic field frame, only one of which can be observed in accordance with a selected photography mode. In a first embodiment of an Albada-type inverted Galilean view finder, one of two types of finder field frames is light-shielded by a blocking member. In a second embodiment, a finder field frame is formed on each of at least two adjacent surfaces of a transparent cubic body which is rotated to position a selected finder field frame in the finder optical path. For a Keplerian view finder, a finder field frame is formed on each side of a transparent plate which is moved along the finder optical path to position a selected one finder field frame in the real image plane.

    摘要: An electonic copying machine for making a hard copy of a remote original comprises a housing and an image pick-up unit pivotally mounted on the housing for vertical swinging movement between a raised use position and a lowered non-use position. In the housing, there are a scanner for scanning the remote original with a line of light projected through a transparent window plate, a recording head and image recording paper. In the image pick-up unit, there are a lens for forming a line image of the scanned remote original on the recording paper, a line image sensor for reading the line image formed thereon by the lens to provide line image signals according to which the image recording head records and image on the recording paper, shifting the line image sensor by a predetermined pitch in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the line image sensor. When the image pick-up unit is folded down, the transparent window plate is covered by the image pick-up unit and the lens is received in a space formed in a corner of the housing and the electronic copying machine then has the shape of a generally rectangular box.

    摘要: A copying machine for making a hard copy of an original comprises an image sensor for reading an image of the original to provide image signals, a memory for memorizing the image signals after or before processing the image signals for necessary corrections, and a printer for printing an image on a copying sheet according to the image signal after image processing. Preferably, a thermal printing head and a heat sensitive sheet are used. The copying machine is compact and either is incorporated in a portable overhead projector or is used as a writing board copy machine. In the former case, the image sensor is disposed in a supporting arm for supporting an image projection lens assembly above a base section of the overhead projector on which a transparent original is placed. The image sensor reads a reflecting original to provide image signals and the thermal printing head prints a mirror image of the reflecting original on a transparent heat sensitive sheet according to the image signals provided by the image sensor, thereby providing a transparent secondary original instantly for projection. In the latter case, the machine includes a pattern projector for projecting a light pattern which will be deformed on the remote original according to position of the copying machine, whereupon a correcting circuit provides a correction signal. The heat sensitive sheet is formed with indicia near front and rear diagonally opposite edges, symmetrically with respect to the center of the sheet, to indicate at least the surface of the sheet to which a heat sensitive material layer is applied.
