Then one obtains (42), from the radio signal, a first signal by channel estimation on the common pilot channel and a second signal by correlation of the received radio signal with a reference code. Next, a resulting signal is obtained (43) by complex conjugate multiplication of the first signal with the second signal. Lastly, a value for the state information indicated in the second signal is determined (44) on the basis of the resulting signal.

    摘要: A receiver having Automatic Frequency Control (“AFC”) is described having at least one input signal terminal and an offset frequency estimation means for estimating each offset frequency of at least two predetermined input signals inputted at the same time at the input signal terminal. The access to the receiver of each input signal is respectively modulated and identified by a distinct code, and in addition an AFC means is included to perform automatic frequency control of a voltage control oscillator serving as a frequency reference of the receiver. The AFC means described in the present invention is operative to provide a unique compensation command defined as a function of a combination of at least two analytical terms, each term respectively depending on the estimated offset frequency of the corresponding input signal.

    摘要: A frequency-control unit is used for controlling an external controllable reference-frequency source. The frequency-control unit includes a filter unit with a controllable filter parameter, which is configured to derive, using the filter parameter, from a frequency-error signal a frequency-control signal for minimizing the frequency error of the reference frequency; and a correlation unit, which is configured to determine from frequency errors of the reference frequency at different points in time a correlation measure indicative of a correlation between the frequency errors at the different points in time. The frequency-control unit is configured to adapt the controllable filter parameter of the filter unit in dependence on the determined correlation measure. The value of the filter parameter can depend also on a receiver path strength, such as an RSCP value.
