摘要: In one implementation, a receiver has a module to calculate the cross-correlation between a portion of a digital representation of a received signal and a reference signal. The receiver also has a module to generate an estimate of a portion of a message potentially included in the digital representation of the received signal and a screening module to determine the likelihood that the received signal includes a message. For a received signal that is determined likely to include a message, the receiver includes a carrier refinement module to shift the frequency of carrier pulses in the digital representation of the received signal toward a desired frequency and to align the phase of carrier pulses in the digital representation of the received signal with a desired phase and a coherent matched filter to recover the message from the digital representation of the received signal.

摘要: Described is a method of performing carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimation of physical channels in a mobile communications system. The method comprises the step of performing channel estimation of a received signal on a physical channel based on multiple orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) symbols in one or more reference signals (RSs). The method includes determining multiple phase rotation values Φ and corresponding time differences s between different OFDM symbols in the one or more RSs over a base phase rotation range comprising +/−π to obtain a first CFO estimation candidate f0. The base phase rotation range is extended to provide an extended phase rotation range of greater than +/−π to obtain additional CFO estimation candidates f1, f2 . . . fn within the extended phase rotation range.

摘要: A wireless device transmits a frame by determining a plurality of Resource Units (RUs) of the frame, providing pilots in a first RU of the frame at a first set of positions, providing pilots in a second RU of the frame at a second set of positions, and transmitting the frame. The first set of positions is different from the second set of positions. A wireless device receives a frame including an RU including pilots and processes the pilots. When an RU for the data symbol includes an odd-numbered lowest subcarrier, the pilots are included at a first set of positions in the resource unit. When the RU includes an even-numbered lowest subcarrier, the pilots are included at a second set of positions in the resource unit. The second set of positions is different from the first set of positions.

摘要: A spatial position-dependent I/Q domain modulation method, dual domain modulation method and multiple access communication method are provided. The methods eliminate the dependence of physical layer secure communication on channel state information, and realize the function that a receiver at an expected position can communicate normally, while an eavesdropper at other positions cannot receive a signal or can only receive a wrong signal. The security capability of a wireless communication system is improved from the spatial dimension. The multiple access communication method can realize the distinguishing of multiple users according to precise spatial position points. Even if a plurality of users are located in the same sector in an angular domain, as long as the spatial positions of these users are different, the method can be used to perform multiple access communication, thereby further improving the spatial multiplexing rate of the system and increasing the system capacity.

In an example, a method for equalizing a digital signal at an equalizer, comprises: receiving, at the equalizer, a plurality of samples of the signal in a plurality of unit intervals (UIs) of a channel response of the digital signal, the plurality of samples comprising a first plurality of samples of a primary response and a second plurality of samples of one or more reflection responses; equalizing, by the equalizer, the first plurality of samples using a first set bitwidth; equalizing the second plurality of samples using one or more further set bitwidths, wherein the first set bitwidth is greater than each of the one or more further set bitwidths; and generating, by the equalizer, an equalized digital signal.

摘要: Optical transmitters and receivers for improving synchronization of data transmitted over an optical network are described. The receiver can perform non-linear filtering as part of framer index estimation operations to improve the synchronization. The receiver can determine estimated positions of framer indices in data frames received from the transmitter. Next, using a non-linear filter, the receiver can remove estimated positions that are likely erroneous or are greater than a threshold away from the median or mode estimated framer index position. By removing the likely erroneous estimated positions, the receiver can then determine the estimated position of a framer index position for multiple frames with greater confidence.

摘要: The present invention relates to the field of digital signal processing, and in particular to a Costas sequence time-frequency joint synchronization method based on all-phase spectrum correction. The method improves the defects existing in a discrete frequency spectrum correction algorithm using short-time Fourier transform and sliding correlation. The improvement mainly comprises: the present disclosure provides a solution based on iterative optimization: when an actual frequency offset is an integral multiple of the spectral resolution, a large error can occur, frequency offset correction and time delay correction are carried out on a signal by using an estimated value having a large estimated error, then estimation is carried out again, and the frequency offset of the signal is not a special value by means of an iteration mode.
