摘要: A compact input device (104), suitable for entering data in an electronic device (102), includes a cylindrical surface (202) that has a keyboard switch matrix (210) deployed on the outer body of the cylindrical surface (202) formed by a first extendable interlocking part (412) and a second extendable interlocking part (414). The first extendable interlocking part (412) includes a left half of a QWERTY keyboard (e.g., Q, W, E, R, T) while the second extendable interlocking part (414) includes a right half of a QWERTY keyboard (e.g., Y, U, I, O, P). When the compact input device (104) is in an extended and aligned configuration, the keys of the first extendable interlocking part (412) and the keys of the second extendable interlocking part (414) form a common QWERTY keyboard configuration.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to using redundant frames for time-sensitive networking (TSN). A device may identify an Ethernet frame including a redundancy tag and an Internet Protocol (IP) packet; generate, based on the Ethernet frame, a first Wi-Fi frame including the redundancy tag and a sub-network access protocol (SNAP) header after an 802.11 medium access control (MAC) header and prior to the redundancy tag, the first Wi-Fi frame further including a first encapsulation of the IP packet; generate, based on the Ethernet frame, a second Wi-Fi frame including the redundancy tag and the SNAP header after the 802.11 MAC header and prior to the redundancy tag, the second Wi-Fi frame further including a second encapsulation of the IP packet; transmit the first Wi-Fi frame using a first Wi-Fi communication link; and transmit the second Wi-Fi frame using a second Wi-Fi communication link.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to wireless time sensitive networking. A device may identify, using an 802.3 protocol stack, an 802.3 frame received from a second device using a wired Ethernet connection, and extract, using the 802.3 protocol stack, a redundancy tag from the 802.3 frame, the redundancy tag including a sequence number. The device may generate, using an 802.11 protocol stack, an 802.11 frame with a subnetwork access protocol (SNAP) field, the SNAP field including an organizationally unique identifier (OUI) and the sequence number, the OUT including an indication of an Ethertype protocol. The device may send the 802.11 frame using a wireless connection.

A device may exchange time-sensitive networking (TSN) capabilities with one or more station devices associated with the device. The device may identify a TSN capability request received from a TSN management entity associated with a TSN domain. The device may transmit a TSN capability response to the TSN management entity. The device may identify a TSN capability configuration frame from the TSN management entity. The device may configure the TSN capabilities based on the TSN capability configuration frame.
