摘要： An audio jack for a mobile communications device electrically connected with a first female connector of a charger and a second female connector of a headset thereby is provided. The audio jack includes an insulative housing, a recharging/signal transmitting unit, a first conductive terminal, and an audio terminal, wherein the recharging/signal transmitting unit includes a second conductive terminal and a central terminal. The insulative housing for accommodating all the terminals is formed with a first opening and a second opening communicated therewith for the central terminal. The recharging/signal transmitting unit and the first conductive terminal form means for recharging the charger when the first female connector of the charger is inserted into the first opening; while the recharging/transmitting unit and the audio terminal form means for transmitting audio signals for the headset when the second female connector of the headset is inserted into the first opening.

摘要： An audio jack connector has an insulative housing and a plurality of conductive terminals mounted in the housing. The housing includes a body, a mating head and an insertion hole, wherein the body has a rear wall, two opposite sidewalls, a top wall and a bottom wall. A plurality of terminal slots and notches is only defined through the bottom wall, keeping other walls of the housing from forming any opening against the entry of the moisture and dust. The mating head is mounted on the body opposite to the rear wall. The insertion hole is defined through the mating head, extends into the body and communicates each terminal slot. Each notch is parallel to one another and communicates a corresponding terminal slot. Each conductive terminal has a base portion, a mounting portion, a connection portion, a contacting portion and a resilient portion.

摘要： An optical fiber socket includes a hollow insulative housing, two openings in a bottom face of the insulative housing for receiving two optical fiber plugs and two illuminating elements accommodated inside the insulative housing for connection with the optical fiber plugs. The insulative housing has a first baffle and a second baffle to divide the insulative housing into a first receiving space for receiving therein one illuminating element, a second receiving space for receiving therein the other illuminating element. Terminals are provided to engage with the illuminating element in the first receiving space and have elongated ends extending out of the insulative housing thereof such that two optical fiber plugs in connection to the insulative housing are able to complete information input/output.
