    摘要: A novel derivative of heterocyclic compound having nitrogen atom with a structure made by bonding special groups to benzimidazole, a material for an organic electroluminescence (EL) device comprising the derivative of heterocyclic compound having nitrogen atom and an organic electroluminescence device comprising at least one organic compound layer containing a light emitting layer sandwiched between a pair of electrodes, wherein the device contains the derivative of heterocyclic compound having nitrogen atom. An organic EL device achieving elevation of luminance and of efficiency in light emission even under low driving voltage is obtainable by an employment of the derivative of heterocyclic compound having nitrogen atom for at least one layer composing organic compound layers of the EL device.

    摘要: A bisanthracene derivative having a specific structure and an organic electroluminescence device having an organic thin film layer which has one layer or a plurality of layers including at least a light emitting layer, and is disposed between a cathode and an anode and contains the bisanthracene derivatives singly or as a component of a mixture. The organic electroluminescence device exhibits a great efficiency of light emission in a region including a high luminance region and has a long life, and the bisanthracene derivative realizes the device.

    摘要: An organic electroluminescent material-containing solution contains an organic electroluminescent material and a solvent.The organic electroluminescent material contains a host and a dopant the host contains an organic electroluminescence-functional portion A formed of a low-molecular organic electroluminescent material and a soluble portion B bonded to the organic electroluminescence-functional portion A for solubilizing the low-molecular organic electroluminescent material in the solvent, the host being represented by a formula of A-B-E (where E represents a terminal group).The portion A is a low-molecular organic electroluminescent material having a central anthracene skeleton.The portion B is formed by bonding structures represented by the following formula (3) with structure(s) represented by the following formula (4). Units represented by the formula (3) include bonds in ortho positions or meta positions while unit(s) represented by the formula (4) includes bonds in para positions. When (a) represents the number of the structures represented by the formula (3) while (b) represents the number of the structure(s) represented by the formula (4), the number (a) and the number (b) satisfies both relationships respectively represented by 3≦(a)+(b)≦20 and (a)≦(b).
