摘要: The heat sink fan for cooling a heat generating device as disclosed in the present invention is provided with a heat sink that is to be directly mounted on the heat generating device to thereby absorb or disperse the heat generated by the heat generating device, and a housing that is detachably engaged to the heat sink and equipped with a fan, which in turn creates air flow to forcibly cool the heat sink. The housing has a top wall portion and a pair of side wall portions extending vartically downwardly from both sides of this top wall portion, the side wall portions being disposed at both sides of the heat sink and provided with an engaging element at which tip an engaging projection is formed. The housing may be detachably coupled with the heat sink the engaging projection being permitted to engage a retaining means formed on a circuit board on which the heat sink or the heat generating device is mounted.

摘要: A housing for a fan unit has a opening defined by an inner peripheral wall being formed with an expanded section for enlarging a part of the opening so that the speed of the air flowing from a predetermined direction and into the opening is higher than the speed of the air flowing from other directions. Since a part of the opening is enlarged, the flowing resistance of the airflow at the portion provided with the expanded section is low as compared with that at other portions. Therefore, the airflow speed increases for the air flowing from a predetermined direction in the electrical apparatus toward the air inlet of the fan unit, and a larger volume of air is thereby drawn into the air passage and is efficiently exhausted.

摘要: A bearing retainer unit is formed by an insert-molding technique to cast a molded component of the bearing retainer unit utilizing a bearing bushing. A first mold die, having a circumferential surface shaped to correspond to at least a portion of the inner circumferential surface of a bearing-positioning portion of the molded component, and a second mold die, having an abutment that abuts against an axial end face of the first die, are readied. A molten material is then injected into the mold to form the molded part, thereby forming the die-parting line on the inner circumferential surface of the component's bearing positioning portion, positioned at the radially outer side of the abutment.

摘要: A bearing retainer unit is formed by an insert-molding technique to cast a molded component of the bearing retainer unit utilizing a bearing bushing. 摘要: The DC motor according to the present invention includes one radial ball bearing and a thrust bearing constituted by a shaft receiving member provided on a housing to be abutted by one end of a rotating shaft. Further, a magnetic and/or a spring bias force is applied to the rotating shaft to supplement thrust load bearing force of the thrust bearing. Compared with conventional DC motors in which a rotor is supported by a shaft through a pair of ball bearings which are axially spaced apart from each other, the present invention enables reduction of the overall motor height without harming the rotational stability while simultaneously achieving low production cost.
