摘要： A tape printing apparatus and the tape printing system capable of preventing deformation of the rollers or sticking thereof to a print head, and capable of preventing degradations in tape feeding accuracy and the inability to print. The tape printing apparatus has a platen roller and a tape feeding roller movable between a pressing position at which they are pressed against a tape accumulated in a cassette and a releasing position in which they are remote from the tape and arranged to perform printing by performing tape feeding upon disposing the platen roller and the tape feeding roller at the pressing position. The apparatus includes a roller driving portion that moves the platen roller and the tape feeding roller between the pressing position and the releasing position and a controller that controls the roller driving portion in correspondence with input signals.

摘要： A cloth holding frame is removably set on a frame driving mechanism in a printer comprising a print head. The cloth holding frame holding the cloth to be printed is detachably provided with the ink tray to receive a jet of ink from the print head by a flushing, and is moved to a flushing position based on a moving distance and, in association therewith, a type of the cloth holding frame set in the printer. Accordingly, the maintenance time for the flushing becomes shorter. The speed of the printing process is enhanced. The controlling operation of the frame driving mechanism to perform the flushing becomes simplified, and the printer can be downsized.

摘要： In an ink jet-type printer device, a printer head has ink passages and actuators for jetting ink from the ink passages. An integrated circuit for driving the actuators and its leading electrodes having respective connecting terminals are provided on the printer head. A printed circuit plate has an electric wiring pattern having connecting terminals which correspond to the connecting terminals on the printer head. The printer head is attached to the printed circuit plate by an adhesive with its connecting terminals being made to contact with the corresponding connecting terminals on the printed circuit plate. The printed circuit plate is assembled to a carriage integrally with the printer head.

摘要： A pair of digital signals outputted from output ports of a CPU in opposite phase are applied to a pair of electrodes attached to an ink cartridge through inverters. A digital signal developed from the electrode connected to a resistor having a resistance value larger than or substantially equal to an ink resistance is inputted to a detection port through a hysteresis inverter. The CPU detects the presence/absence of ink in the cartridge, based on the phase relation of the digital signal applied through the hysteresis inverter with the digital signal outputted from the output port of the CPU or based on the presence/absence of the digital signal from the hysteresis inverter.
