    摘要: A tape printing apparatus and the tape printing system capable of preventing deformation of the rollers or sticking thereof to a print head, and capable of preventing degradations in tape feeding accuracy and the inability to print. The tape printing apparatus has a platen roller and a tape feeding roller movable between a pressing position at which they are pressed against a tape accumulated in a cassette and a releasing position in which they are remote from the tape and arranged to perform printing by performing tape feeding upon disposing the platen roller and the tape feeding roller at the pressing position. The apparatus includes a roller driving portion that moves the platen roller and the tape feeding roller between the pressing position and the releasing position and a controller that controls the roller driving portion in correspondence with input signals.

    摘要: The present invention provides a printing apparatus that selects a suitable speed, thereby enabling a rapid printing operation with printing quality maintained. In the printing apparatus, the number of heating elements for every printing line is counted. A printing constant speed is determined based upon the dividing number of a thermal head selected from the counting result. When the printing constant speed is changed, a corresponding numerical table is selected and set from a printing speed accelerating table and a printing speed decelerating table stored in a ROM and set for every printing constant speed.

[Solving Means] The printing apparatus is started on so-called sleep mode or energy saving mode in which power is supplied only to the control portion and a sensor portion. If a detection signal is received from a personal computer (S5: YES), four printable conditions, that is, whether or not a cover is closed (S7), whether or not a tape is loaded normally (S9), whether or not a cutter operates normally (S11) and whether or not battery voltage is within a normal range (S13) are checked successively, and if all the conditions are satisfied, the main power supply is turned ON (S15). Consequently, the print mechanism and other portions are supplied with power so that the entire printing apparatus is supplied with power. As a result, the print preparation processing is executed (S17), and the printing apparatus waits for reception of print data (S19).

    摘要: A printer comprises a feeder, a printing head, and a detecting device. The feeder feeds a print-receiving tape having multiple print-receiving portions, each of the print-receiving portions having a detected element. The printing head forms desired printing on the print-receiving tape. The detecting device detects the detected element, provided on an upstream side of the printing head by a predetermined distance X. A first positioning reference is generated when the detecting device detects the detected element of a first print-receiving portion. The printing head may be controlled, when the detecting device detects the detected element of the first print-receiving portion, to perform print formation on a second print-receiving portion preceding the first print-receiving portion and facing the printing head, using the first positioning reference.
