摘要:
A system and method to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of a radiologist. A display protocol for medical imaging equipment may allow a plurality of three-dimensional medical images to be concurrently displayed and navigated. The three-dimensional medical images may be linked so a user can manipulate the viewing angle and pointer in the linked images. The display protocol can be configured to display a three-dimensional image from a current exam and a three-dimensional comparison image. Moreover, a display protocol for medical imaging equipment may allow at least one three-dimensional medical image to be concurrently displayed with at least one two-dimensional medical image. The three-dimensional medical image may be linked with the two-dimensional medical image so a user can manipulate the viewing angle and pointer in the linked images. The display protocol can be configured to display a three-dimensional image with axial, sagital, coronal, or non-standard oblique views.
摘要:
A method relates to operating a system using a mixed monitor workstation, such as a medical PACS workstation, having a first display of a first resolution and a second display having a different resolution. The method may include moving a graphical element displayed on the first display to the second display, and resealing the graphical element when moved such that the graphical element has a different pixel size on the second display than it did on the first. The method may also include allocating a graphical element to the first display or the second display based on characteristics of the graphical element. Various criteria may be used to allocate the graphical element; for instance, whether color images are currently being displayed on a low resolution monitor, whether a graphical element is a high or low resolution image, and others. The method may be implemented using software associated with the workstation.

An example operation metrics collection and processing system is to mine a data set including patient and exam workflow data from information source(s) according to an operational metric for a workflow of interest; identify one or more states involved in the workflow; determine a wait time for each of the state(s); apply one or more applicable deductions to the wait time for each of the state(s) based on one or more workflow-specific events to generate an adjusted wait time for each of the state(s) in the workflow of interest; aggregate the adjusted wait time for each of the state(s) to generate a normalized wait time for the workflow of interest; group normalized wait times for the workflow of interest according to one or more thresholds; and output a representation of the normalized wait times to the user interface based on the grouping and the one or more thresholds.

An example operation metrics collection and processing system is to mine a data set including patient and exam workflow data from information source(s) according to an operational metric for a workflow of interest. The method includes mining a data set for information related to one or more healthcare operational metrics; displaying information regarding one or more scheduled procedures and associated equipment involving one or more selected patients; accepting an input of one or more conditions to affect interpretation of the information; determining a completion time for an event associated with one of the one or more scheduled procedures; evaluating a delay associated with the event with respect to the input of one or more conditions; calculating at least one healthcare operational metric based on the completion time, the delay, and the input; and outputting the at least one healthcare operational metric for display and analysis.
