Abstract: A first radiating element and a second radiating element each have a first extending portion protruding from a region where a ground conductor is formed to a non-ground-conductor region, and a second extending portion extending parallel with a boundary of the ground-conductor region and the non-ground-conductor region. The first radiating element and the second radiating element are arranged such that an open end of the second extending portion of the first radiating element and an open end of a second extending portion of the second radiating element face each other. A parasitic element is formed on a side of the second radiating element distant from the region (where the ground conductor is formed. A parasitic element is formed along the first radiating element. With this configuration, an antenna device is realized which has gain in two frequency bands and has forward directivity.

Abstract: In an antenna device, power is fed from a first port to a first radiation element, and power is fed from a second port to a second radiation element. A decoupling circuit connects the first radiation element and the second radiation element, and includes a bridge element connecting a first point between the first port and the first radiation element and a second point between the second port and the second radiation element to each other. A first reactance element is provided in series with the first radiation element between the first point and the first radiation element, and a second reactance element is provided in series with the second radiation element between the second point and the second radiation element. At least one of the first reactance element and the second reactance element is configured so as to be capable of changing the value of reactance.

Abstract: A front end circuit and a wireless communication device capable of achieving matching with an antenna across a wide frequency band and capable of suppressing degradation in high-frequency characteristics caused by the influence of transmission signal harmonics is provided. A front end circuit includes a variable matching circuit connected to a low-frequency band transmission port side of a diplexer and a harmonic filter connected between the variable matching circuit and the diplexer. The harmonic filter has a pass band that overlaps with a low-frequency band-side communication band and a stop band that overlaps with a harmonic frequency of the low-frequency band-side communication band.

Abstract: A first radiation electrode is formed on a bottom surface of a no-ground conductor formation area of a board, and second radiation electrodes are formed on a top surface of the no-ground conductor formation area. A longitudinal electrode of the first radiation electrode is electrically continuous with a ground conductor. A first end portion and a second end portion of a transverse electrode of the first radiation electrode extend toward the ground conductor. The transverse electrode of the first radiation electrode operates as a radiation element for radiating a signal at a first frequency. The second radiation electrodes each operate as a radiation element for radiating a signal at a second frequency, and also as a capacitive feed electrode for the first radiation electrode. This enables to strengthen directivity toward an antenna portion side (forward direction) of the board, and further enables multiband use.
