摘要： A printing system and an image forming device are provided for printing an electronic document, and an electronic document printing method thereof. The printing system includes an electronic document providing server for providing an electronic document, and a host computer having a first interface for receiving the electronic document from the electronic document providing server, a driver for setting print options and generating printing data according to the set print options when an electronic document print function corresponding to the received electronic document is selected, and a second interface for transferring the generated printing data. The printing system further includes an image forming device for printing the received printing data according to the set print options based upon the electronic document print function. The user can print the electronic document with optimal print quality without having to change the print options of the driver and the image forming device.

摘要： There is provided a printing method using a printer which includes a pause button and a resume button or a single toggling button which selects a pause and a resume of a print job. The printing method includes sensing a press of the pause button; pausing the print job of a page under printing, when the press of the pause button is sensed; and resuming the print job of the page which has been paused, when a press of the resume button is sensed, thereby pausing the print job by means of the printer alone even after printing data are output to the printer from a spooler of a computer system, reducing the printing time and papers and maintaining a document security.

The managing method of an image forming system which includes an image forming apparatus, and a host client which is connected to the image forming apparatus, includes determining whether a predetermined event of the image forming apparatus happens or not, informing at least one host client whether to perform an uninstalling of a printer driver which corresponds to the image forming apparatus or not if the predetermined event happens, selecting the uninstalling of the printer driver depending on the informing, and deleting the printer driver of the host client depending on the selecting. Thus, the present general inventive concept provides an image forming apparatus, a host client, an image forming system and a managing method thereof efficiently managing a control program corresponding to the image forming apparatus.
