摘要： A printing system and an image forming device are provided for printing an electronic document, and an electronic document printing method thereof. The printing system includes an electronic document providing server for providing an electronic document, and a host computer having a first interface for receiving the electronic document from the electronic document providing server, a driver for setting print options and generating printing data according to the set print options when an electronic document print function corresponding to the received electronic document is selected, and a second interface for transferring the generated printing data. The printing system further includes an image forming device for printing the received printing data according to the set print options based upon the electronic document print function. Accordingly, the user can print the electronic document with optimal print quality without having to change the print options of the driver and the image forming device one by one.

摘要： There is provided a printing method using a printer which includes a pause button and a resume button or a single toggling button which selects a pause and a resume of a print job. The printing method includes sensing a press of the pause button; pausing the print job of a page under printing, when the press of the pause button is sensed; and resuming the print job of the page which has been paused, when a press of the resume button is sensed, thereby pausing the print job by means of the printer alone even after printing data are output to the printer from a spooler of a computer system, reducing the printing time and papers and maintaining a document security.

The image forming device has a mode selector to allow a user to select one of a plurality of printing modes, and a controller. 摘要： A method of reporting print options in a printing system, which includes an image forming apparatus to execute printing operation, a display apparatus, a storing medium, and a host computer to transmit print data to the image forming apparatus includes changing one or more print options in the printing system, in which the changing of print options is performed by an user, and selecting help information corresponding to the print options changed by the user from help information previously stored in the storing medium and outputting the selected help information through the image forming apparatus using the host computer when the printing operation is performed after the print options have been changed. According to this method, whenever a user performs the printing operation after changing one or more printing options of a printer, the help information corresponding to the changed printing options is presented through a monitor or a printer. Thus, the user can easily confirm which print options are used in a printed matter outputted through the image forming apparatus.
