    Abstract: The present circuit controls the width of the voltage pulses applied to a plasma cell to control the amount of wall charge that builds within the cell. By controlling the level of the wall charge it is possible to control the occurrence of the discharge within the cell.

    Abstract: A multiple-character display device in which characters are displayed by selective energization of electrodes in sets, with one set of electrodes being provided for each character. Corresponding electrodes in different character sets are interconnected by conductors which are interwoven through spaces between electrodes in the character sets to form continuous paths, thus eliminating the need for external connections for each electrode of each character. Two embodiments of character sets are disclosed, with one embodiment employing a two-stage mode of operation.
