Abstract:
A User Equipment (UE) (3) includes, in a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) message requesting establishment or modification of a protocol data unit (PDU) session, one or both of a first identifier representing a candidate secondary cell (12) for dual connectivity and a second identifier representing a frequency band in which the candidate secondary cell operates. The UE (3) sends the NAS message to a core network (30) via a radio access network (10). This can, for example, allow a radio communication network to provide a UE with a user plane path that includes a radio connection in a specific secondary cell of dual connectivity based on a request from the UE or an application function.
Abstract:
A control apparatus used in a communicating system, comprising: a first controlling part that controls a data communication from a terminal apparatus via a mobile access line using a mobile network and a non-mobile access line not using the mobile network; a measuring part that performs Ping-measures of the mobile access line and of the non-mobile access line, respectively; a determining part that determines whether the mobile access line or the non-mobile access line is available based on the measuring part; and a second control part that controls a data communication from the terminal apparatus via the access line selected based on the determining part.
Abstract:
It is aimed to provide a mobility management device that can normally provide a UE with a notification of an incoming voice call made when ISR is activated and when a mobile communication device is moving from a location registration area under control of an MME to a location registration area under control of an SGSN. A mobility management device (10) makes an ISR feature operate in collaboration with an SGSN (20). It is assumed that a location registration area (60) managed by the mobility management device (10) exists within a location registration area (50) managed by the SGSN (20), and an incoming voice call is made to a mobile communication device (30) during when the mobile communication device (30) is moving out of the location registration area (60). The mobility management device (10) includes an incoming voice call control unit (11) that, in the above case, sends a response message indicating that the mobile communication device (30) is moving to a switching device (40) and, when an incoming voice call message is sent again from the switching device (40) to a switching device (40) after the lapse of a specified period of time, performs call attempt to the mobile communication device (30).
Abstract:
A Policy Control Function (PCF) apparatus (34) receives information from a Network Exposure Function (NEF) apparatus (35) or an Application Function (AF) apparatus (41) and modifies based on the information a policy including an Index to RAT/Frequency Selection Priority (RFSP index). This can, for example, contribute to enabling a radio communication network to provide a User Equipment (UE) with a user plane path containing a radio connection in a specific cell based on a request from an AF.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus extracts one or more strings to be determined from a path name string, and determines necessity of masking for each of the strings to be determined. The necessity of masking is determined based on the appearance number of the string to be determined in a string group extracted from the path name strings of a plurality of files handled by a target system.

Abstract:
A radio terminal (1) is configured to assign a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) Session ID that is different from a most recently used PDU Session ID to a new PDU session to be established. This contributes to, for example, avoiding a conflict (or collision) between an uncompleted PDU session release and a new PDU session establishment that are associated with the same PDU Session ID.
Abstract:
A communication system according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention includes an MME (25) that, by movement of a UE (45), performs Tracking Area Update processing that changes a location registration area of the UE (45) and manages the location registration area of the UE (45) before change, and a PGW (75) that sends, to the MME (25), a control signal required to be notified to the UE (45) during execution of the Tracking Area Update processing. When the MME (25) receives the control signal, it sends a response signal indicating that the Tracking Area Update processing is being executed to the PGW (75), and, after completion of the Tracking Area Update processing, the PGW (75) sends the control signal to an MME (35) that manages the location registration area of the UE (45) after change.
