    Abstract: Provided an area-specific environment management system, which manages an environment in an individual one of a plurality of areas, the system including: a biological information sensor that acquires biological information about at least one of an individual and a group who belongs to an individual one of the areas; an environmental information sensor that acquires environmental information about an individual one of the areas; an arousal level estimation section that estimates an arousal level with respect to the biological information by using an arousal level estimation model; and an environment provision section that provides an environment to an individual one of the areas based on the arousal level and the environmental information, wherein the arousal level includes, as a state to which the arousal level belongs, a state from sleepy until awakened; a wakeful state; and an excessively wakeful state, and wherein the environment provision section includes an individual control mode corresponding to a state to which the arousal level belongs and manages an environment to be provided to an individual one of the areas based on the control mode.

    Abstract: A storage battery control device includes: a voltage measurement means for measuring terminal voltage of a storage battery; a current measurement means for measuring charge current and discharge current of the storage battery; a capacity calculation means for calculating a cumulative capacity of the storage battery by using the charge current measured by a current measurement unit; a control means for determining an operation of the storage battery, based on at least one of the terminal voltage, the charge current, the discharge current, and the cumulative capacity; and a charging/discharging control means for causing the storage battery to operate in accordance with an instruction from the control means, and the charging/discharging control means causes the storage battery to charge by a first charging method from a discharge end voltage to a first charge voltage, to charge by a second charging method at the first charge voltage, to charge by the first charging method from the first charge voltage to a second charge voltage, and to charge by the second charging method at the second charge voltage.

    Abstract: Through the present invention, a residual capacity is measured with good precision even when a system for calculating the residual capacity of a storage cell on the basis of voltage and a system for calculating the residual capacity of a storage cell according to current integration are combined. In the present invention, as a first differential residual capacity, a difference value is calculated between a first residual capacity indicating the residual capacity of a storage cell at a first time, calculated by a voltage estimation system from the voltage and current of the storage cell at the first time, and the residual capacity of the storage cell at a second time, calculated by a voltage estimation system from the voltage and current from the storage cell at the second time. A second differential residual capacity is then calculated indicating the difference value between the residual capacity of the storage cell at the first time and the residual capacity of the storage cell at the second time, by a current integration system, on the basis of the integrated amount of current in the period between the first time and the second time. A current increase/decrease range indicating the increase/decrease of the current from the current at the first time and the current at the second time is then calculated, the first differential residual capacity or the second differential residual capacity is switched as the differential residual capacity on the basis of the current increase/decrease range, and the sum of the first residual capacity and the switched differential residual capacity is outputted as the residual capacity of the storage cell at the second time.
