    Abstract: The present invention has as its object to provide grain-oriented electrical steel sheet better improved in core loss in control of magnetic domains for forming laser grooves in cold rolled steel sheet. The present invention provides grain-oriented electrical steel sheet meeting the following requirements for achieving the object:
    That is, it provides grain-oriented electrical steel sheet comprising a base material steel sheet having a plurality of grooves on the surface of the steel sheet and a glass coating on the surface of the base material steel sheet, in which grain-oriented electrical steel sheet, an absolute value of an angle θ formed by a direction perpendicular to a rolling direction and a sheet thickness direction of the base material steel sheet and a longitudinal direction of the grooves is 0 to 40°, a width W of the grooves is 20 μm to 300 μm, a depth D of the grooves is 10 μm to 40 μm, and a pitch P of the grooves in the rolling direction is 1.0 mm to 30 mm, and, when a thickness of the glass coating at flat parts of the surface of the base material steel sheet is t1, a glass coating thickness of deepest parts of the grooves in the recessed parts of the grooves is t2, and a glass coating thickness of side parts of the grooves is t3, the relationship of formula (1) is satisfied: (t2+t3)/2≥t1  formula (1)

    Abstract: The method for manufacturing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet is a method for manufacturing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet including a strain region forming process of irradiating the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet having a base steel sheet (1), an intermediate layer (4) disposed to be in contact with the base steel sheet (1), and an insulation coating (3) disposed to be in contact with the intermediate layer (4) with an electron beam and forming a strain region (D) which extends in a direction intersecting a rolling direction of the base steel sheet (1) on a surface of the base steel sheet (1), wherein, in the strain region forming process, a temperature of a central portion of the strain region (D) in the rolling direction of the base steel sheet (1) and an extension direction of the strain region (D) is heated to 800° C. or higher and 2000° C. or lower.

    Abstract: The grain-oriented electrical steel sheet according to the present invention is a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet having a base steel sheet (1), an intermediate layer (4) disposed to be in contact with the base steel sheet (1), and an insulation coating (3) disposed to be in contact with the intermediate layer (4), and the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet includes a surface of the base steel sheet (1) having a groove (G) which extends in a direction intersecting a rolling direction of the base steel sheet (1), in which in a cross-sectional view of a plane parallel to the rolling direction and a sheet thickness direction of the base steel sheet (1), when a region between end portions of the groove (G) is defined as a groove part (RG), an average thickness of the intermediate layer (4) of the groove part (RG) is 0.5 times or more and 3.0 times or less an average thickness of the intermediate layer (4) other than the groove part (RG), and an area ratio of voids in the insulation coating (3) of the groove part (RG) is 15% or less.

    Abstract: A grain-oriented electrical steel sheet includes a base steel sheet which contains Si and Mn, an intermediate layer which is disposed on a surface of the base steel sheet and contains a silicon oxide as a main component, and an insulation coating which is disposed on a surface of the intermediate layer. A final-annealed film is not substantially present on a surface of the base steel sheet. In a surface layer region of grain-oriented electrical steel sheet, a Mn-depletion layer having a valley portion of a Mn content in which a Mn content is lower than an average Mn content of the base steel sheet in a region deeper than the surface layer region is provided, and a Mn-rich layer having a peak portion of a Mn content in which a Mn content is higher than that in the valley portion of the Mn content is provided in a region closer to a surface of the insulation coating than the Mn-depletion layer.
