Abstract: A vehicle panel assembly comprises a trim assembly, a light and a sensor. The trim assembly defines a recessed storage area. The light is disposed on the trim assembly and configured to emit visible light toward the recessed storage area. The sensor is disposed on the trim assembly proximate to the recessed storage area and configured to activate the light to emit the visible light upon the sensor sensing a presence of an object entering an area proximate to the sensor that includes the recessed storage area.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a light assembly and an electric control module. The light assembly is assembled to an underbody of the vehicle. The light assembly has a light bar and an image projector. The light bar has a plurality of first light sources. The image projector has a housing that is fitted to a longitudinal end of the light bar. The housing has a circuit board and an emitting portion that houses a second light source. The circuit board is electrically connected to the second light source to regulate electric current to the light source. The electric control module is electrically connected to the light bar and the circuit board to provide electrical power to both the light bar and the image projector.

Abstract: A vehicle light assembly includes a fixed structure, at least one light and an image projector. The fixed structure is configured to be assembled to a vehicle body component of a vehicle. The at least one light is fixed to the fixed structure and is configured to illuminate a first external area that is in the vicinity of the vehicle. The image projector is fixed to the fixed structure and is configured to project an image onto a second external area that is in the vicinity of the first external area.
