Abstract:
Provided is a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet for securing portable electronic device members. This double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, when used for securing a constitutional member in a portable electronic device, surely offers high adhesive strength even when used in a small area. In addition, the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet restrains separation of the constitutional member even when the portable electronic device is subjected to drop impact. Also provided is a method for producing a portable electronic device using the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet for securing portable electronic device members. A double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet according to the present invention for securing portable electronic device members includes an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer capable of curing by radiation irradiation. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a glass transition temperature after curing of −30° C. or lower and has a storage modulus after curing of 6.0×104 Pa or more at 70° C.

A translucent light-shielding tape has a base material layer, a light-shielding layer and an adhesive agent layer. The base material layer is formed with a plastic material such as polyethylene terephthalate and the like. The light-shielding layer is laminated on one of the main surfaces of the base material layer. The light-shielding layer is, for example, a black print layer formed with printing of black ink. The adhesive agent layer is laminated on the other of the main surfaces of the base material layer. As the adhesive agent layer, an acrylic-based polymer is suitably used. The translucent light-shielding tape has 0.010 to 10% of the permeability with regards to light of 550 nm.

A fingerprint-resistant pressure-sensitive adhesive tape includes has a core layer including a substrate layer and a colored layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and a fingerprint-resistant treated layer. The substrate layer is formed of a plastic material, such as polyethylene terephthalate. The colored layer is laminated on one major surface of the substrate layer. The colored layer is a black printed layer formed, for example, by printing black ink. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is laminated on a major surface of the colored layer, the major surface being opposite to the substrate layer. An acrylic polymer is preferably used for the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The fingerprint-resistant treated layer is formed on a major surface of the substrate layer, the major surface being opposite to the colored layer. Wa of the outer surface of the fingerprint-resistant treated layer is 150 angstroms or more and Ra thereof is 2000 angstroms or more.

Provided is a water-dispersed PSA composition capable of bringing about greater water resistance. The water-dispersed PSA composition provided by this invention comprises an acrylic polymer as base polymer, a water-dispersed tackifier resin, and a polyacrylic acid. The polyacrylic acid has a number average molecular weight of 2000 to 550×104. The polyacrylic acid content is 0.3 part by weight or higher and 7 parts by weight or lower to 100 parts by weight of the base polymer.

A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet according to the present invention includes an irradiation-curable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes an acrylic polymer and a multifunctional acrylic oligomer. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, after curing, has a Young's modulus of 500 kPa to 10000 kPa at 23° C. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, after curing, has an adhesive strength of 3.0 N/20 mm or more. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer before curing may have an adhesive strength of typically 3.0 N/20 mm or more. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer before curing may have a Young's modulus of typically 30 kPa to 200 kPa at 23° C.

A double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape includes: a substrate; a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on one surface of the substrate; and a second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on the other surface of the substrate. At least one of the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains both an acrylic polymer and an acrylic oligomer whose weight average molecular weight is 20000 or less and whose monomer is different from that of the acrylic polymer. The content of a tackifier for providing tackiness is less than 5% by mass. By containing the acrylic oligomer whose monomer is different from that of the acrylic polymer in at least one of the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the drop impact resistance in a low-temperature atmosphere is improved.
