Abstract: An object is to provide a wax dispersant capable of improving the resin composition in the fluidity in a molten state, the transparency and the storage stability, when adding the wax to a thermoplastic resin. The wax dispersant is a copolymer (A) which has a copolymerization composition comprising structural units respectively derived from: an aromatic monomer (A1) within 40 to 94% by mass; a (meth)acrylic acid long chain alkyl ester (A2) represented by the formula (1) (an alcohol residue R2 is C9 to C22 alkyl) within 5 to 40% by mass; and a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester (A3) represented by the formula (2) (an alcohol residue R4 is C1 to C8 alkyl) within 1 to 20% by mass, and also has a weight average molecular weight within 3,000 to 50,000.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing an iron soap is disclosed herein. The method comprising the steps of: reacting, at a temperature equal to or lower than a crystal transition initiation temperature of the iron soap to be manufactured, between a straight-chain saturated fatty acid alkali metal salt aqueous solution having from 12 to 22 carbons and a trivalent iron salt aqueous solution with pH of 0.1 to 5.5 so as to prepare an iron soap slurry; and adjusting pH of the prepared iron soap slurry to from 0.1 to 6.0.

Abstract: A metal soap, including metal soap particles in which a fatty acid has from 6 to 22 carbons, and an inorganic crystal nucleating agent with an average particle size of 0.01 to 20 μm absorbed internally into the metal soap particles, wherein the cumulative diameter at 50% of the metal soap particles on a volumetric basis is 1.0 to 30.0 μm, and the internal absorption rate A, represented by formula (1) below, is 30% or greater. Abstract: Provided is a wax which is used in a toner, whereby the toner is excellent in low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant shelf stability, the glossiness is improved as compared with the prior art, and the generation of ultrafine particles and the bleeding of the wax are not likely to occur. The wax for toners, wherein the wax is an ester wax generated by esterification of a pentaerythritol and a monocarboxylic acid; wherein the monocarboxylic acid used for the esterification contains a behenic acid, an arachidic acid and a stearic acid; and wherein, with respect to 100% by mass of the monocarboxylic acid, a content ratio of the behenic acid is from 60% by mass to 80% by mass; a content ratio of the arachidic acid is from 5% by mass to 15% by mass; and a content ratio of the stearic acid is from 15% by mass to 25% by mass.
