摘要: A seal device prevents sealing fluid on the inner-machine side from leaking to the outer-machine side between a housing and a rotating shaft inserted into a shaft hole on the housing. The seal lip is attached to the inner periphery of the shaft hole to slidingly contact the seal flange attached to the outer periphery of the rotating shaft. The thread groove, which exerts a fluid pumping action when the shaft is rotating, is provided on the seal flange so as to intersect with a lip end of the seal lip. The thread groove is formed so as to have a relatively small cross-sectional area in a sliding area in the seal flange that the seal lip comes in sliding contact with and have a relatively large cross-sectional area in an inner peripheral side area located on an inner peripheral side more than the sliding area.

摘要: A sealing apparatus which seals an annular gap of a hole into which a shaft is to be inserted, includes a sealing apparatus body to be fitted into the hole, and a slinger to be attached to the shaft. At least one groove is formed on the other side of the flange portion, and a plurality of projections are formed side by side in a circumferential direction on an inner periphery surface of the end-face lip extending in a spiral manner in a rotation direction of the shaft from the other side to the one side and being formed on an inner periphery side of a slinger contact portion of the end-face lip.

摘要: A sealing device includes a metal ring, a main lip, an annular elastic body, a sliding ring, and biasing means. The metal ring is hermetically fixed to a housing. The main lip is bonded to the metal ring and is slidably in close contact with an outer periphery surface of a rotating body inserted through an inner circumference of the housing. The annular elastic body is bonded to the metal ring on an outer side of the main lip, and stretchable in an axial direction. The sliding ring is provided at an end portion of the annular elastic body on a side opposite the metal ring, and is slidably in close contact with a seal flange attached to an outer periphery of the rotating body. The biasing means is configured to elastically press the sliding ring against the seal flange, thereby maintaining stable sealability over an extended period of time.

摘要: Static leakage is suppressed in a sealing device, where a sealing lip slidably makes contacts with a sealing flange, in which a thread groove exhibits fluid pumping action during rotation.
