Abstract:
Various communication systems may benefit from an accurate cell detection method. The method may include determining at least one first correlation value between a first sequence of received samples and at least one pre-defined sequence, determining at least one second correlation value between a second sequence of received samples at a predetermined distance and the at least one pre-defined sequence, wherein the predetermined distance is substantially more than one symbol and substantially less than two symbols, performing summing of at least the at least one first correlation value and the at least one second correlation value to obtain at least one summed correlation value and detecting whether at least one peak exists by comparing the at least one summed correlation value with a detection threshold.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for reference signal adaptation based on incoming user mobility information are provided. One method includes receiving, by a target base station, a request to begin transmitting reference signals for mobility measurements. The request may be received from a source base station serving a user equipment. In addition, the request may be received when a handover of the user equipment is impending.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products relating to physical resource block (PRB) bundling size and/or precoding resource block group (PRG) configuration are provided. One method may include determining a minimum PRG size based at least on a user equipment's operating bandwidth, defining a configurable PRG set based on the minimum PRG size, and signaling the PRG set to the user equipment.
Abstract:
Various communication systems may benefit from an accurate detection method. The method may include determining correlation values between a first sequence of samples and at least one pre-defined sequence, detecting whether at least one first peak exists by comparing the correlation values with at least one first detection threshold. If the at least one first peak exists, the method may further include performing summing of at least a subset of the correlation values and detecting whether at least one second peak exists by comparing the summed correlation values with a second detection threshold.
