    摘要: Provided are a liquid crystal panel capable of constituting a liquid crystal display apparatus in which a contrast and a display color are unlikely to change depending upon a viewing angle and an azimuth, and a liquid crystal display apparatus using the liquid crystal panel. The liquid crystal panel of the present invention at least includes a liquid crystal cell, a first polarizer placed on one side of the liquid crystal cell, a second polarizer placed on another side of the liquid crystal cell, a first optical element placed between the liquid crystal cell and the first polarizer, a second optical element placed between the liquid crystal cell and the first optical element, and a third optical element placed between the liquid crystal cell and the second polarizer, in which an absorption axis of the first polarizer is perpendicular to an absorption axis of the second polarizer, the first optical element has a relationship of nz>nx=ny, the second optical element has a relationship of nx>ny=nz and a slow axis thereof parallel to an absorption axis of the first polarizer, and the third optical element has an optical isotropy.

    摘要: A polarizing plate is provided that has high hardness, can have a reduced thickness, and has excellent in polarization properties. The polarizing plate includes a polarizer, an adhesive layer, and a cured resin layer. The adhesive layer is stacked on at least one surface of the polarizer. The cured resin layer is stacked on the surface of the adhesive layer located on the opposite side to the polarizer. The adhesive layer has a thickness in the range of 0.1 μm to 10 μm. The cured resin layer is formed of a solventless photocurable composition containing component (A) and component (B), with component (A) being at least one of a polyfunctional acrylic monomer and a polyfunctional methacrylic monomer and component (B) being a photocurable prepolymer.

In the antiglare film of the present invention, a rugged shape in a first direction is substantially different from a rugged shape in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. Preferably, an average gradient angle θa1 of the rugged shape in the first direction is larger than an average gradient angle θa2 of the rugged shape in the second direction.
