摘要:
A plant treatment composition for application of an anionic exogenous chemical substance such as glyphosate to foliage of a plant is provided. The composition comprises, in addition to the exogenous chemical substance, one or more amine compound(s) each having a number n of protonatable amino groups, n being at least 1, and having the formula (I) R—NR—((CH2)p—CHR4—NR)q—R (I) wherein q is an integer of 0 to 9, each p is independently an integer of 1 to 5, each R4 group is independently hydrogen or a C1-5 alkyl group, and R groups are independently selected from hydrogen, C1-5 hydrocarbyl groups and linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C6-22 hydrocarbyl or acyl chains that are (a) unsubstituted or substituted at one or a plurality of carbon atoms with a functional group independently selected from hydroxyl, carboxy, carbamyl, mercapto and cyano groups and (b) uninterrupted or interrupted by one or a plurality of functional linkages independently selected from ether, thioether, sulfoxide, ester, thioester and amide linkages, and terminated by an uninterrupted hydrocarbyl segment having at least 6 carbon atoms; with the proviso that one to three R groups are such C6-22 hydrocarbyl or acyl chains, of which at least one is so substituted and/or interrupted. The exogenous chemical substance and amine compound(s) of formula (I) are dissolved or dispersed in an agronomically acceptable liquid carrier, preferably water. Also provided are a liquid concentrate composition which, upon dilution with water, forms a plant treatment composition, and a process for making such a liquid concentrate composition. Plant treatment compositions of the invention are useful for eliciting a biological activity, for example herbicidal activity, in a plant.
摘要:
A plant treatment composition for application of an anionic exogenous chemical substance such as glyphosate herbicide to foliage of a plant is provided. The composition is a colloidal dispersion having supramolecular aggregates dispersed in an aqueous application medium. The supramolecular aggregates comprise one or more amphiphilic salt(s) having anions of the exogenous chemical substance and cations derived by protonation of one or more polyamine(s) or polyamine derivative(s) each having (a) at least two nitrogen-containing groups, of which a number n not less than 1 are amino groups that can be protonated to form cationic primary, secondary or tertiary ammonium groups, and (b) at least one hydrocarbyl or acyl group having about 6 to about 30 carbon atoms. The composition contains (i) a molar amount X in total of the exogenous chemical substance, in all salt and acid forms thereof present, sufficient to elicit a biological response when the composition is applied to the foliage of the plant at a rate of about 10 to about 1000 l/ha, (ii) a molar amount A in total of said polyamine(s) and derivative(s) thereof and cations derived therefrom, and (iii) a zero or molar amount B in total of one or more monovalent base(s) and cations derived therefrom, said base(s) being other than a polyamine or derivative thereof, such that nA/(nA+B) is about 0.01 to 1, and (nA+B)/X is about 0.5 to about 10.Also provided are a liquid concentrate composition which, upon dilution with water, forms a plant treatment composition as described above, and a process for making such a liquid concentrate composition. Plant treatment compositions of the invention are useful for eliciting a biological activity, for example herbicidal activity, in a plant when applied to foliage thereof.

The subject-matter of the present invention is to solve the technical problem resulting from the instability in air of polysilanes. For this purpose, it proposes a polysilane-based composition, used particularly for producing silicon carbide, comprising:polysilane chains capable of being degraded by oxidation and the formation of polysiloxane-type products and/or polysilane chains suitable for being bound together directly by a reaction between Si--H and Si--X radicals, and/or indirectly through the intermediary of a crosslinking additive and by a reaction between A--X and A--H radicals, X being an olefin radical, preferably comprising 1 to 18 carbon atoms and, more preferably still, being constituted by a vinyl radical (Vi:--CH.dbd.CH.sub.2), A being an organic, organosilicic or silicic radical;and at least one antioxidant system.
