The invention relates to a device for preparing a beverage from a beverage ingredient contained in a receptacle (17) by driving the receptacle (17) in centrifugation comprising a holding part (16) arranged for holding the receptacle (17) in a position enabling it to be rotated along a longitudinal axis of rotation (I), a liquid interfacing part (8) arranged for engaging against the receptacle (17) and for supplying water in the receptacle (17) and extracting the beverage. The holding part (16) and the liquid interfacing part (8) are connected together by connection means in such a manner that these parts (8, 16) rotate together with the receptacle (17) during centrifugation. The connection means comprises at least a first engaging surface (48) of one of the holding part (16) or liquid interfacing part (8) and a second engaging surface (23) of a locking means (20) connected to the other one of the holding part (16) or the liquid interfacing part (8) which are adapted to be engaged in contact together at least during rotation of the device in a manner preventing the holding part (16) and the liquid interfacing part (8) from moving away from each other, at least in the axial direction of rotation (I). The invention relates to a package (10) of a foodstuff cooking device, the package (10) for containing foodstuff and comprising on a surface thereof an arrangement of separate codes encoding cooking information, each code encoding a distinct phase of a cooking process, the phases in the cooking process being determined considering the deviation of the real value of at least one parameter significantly influencing the preparation of the foodstuff, with respect to a reference value of it. The at least one parameter measured is one or a combination of the following: weight of the foodstuff; weight of one or several ingredients in the foodstuff; geometrical distribution of one or several ingredients in the foodstuff; foodstuff initial temperature; foodstuff age; foodstuff uniformity; proportion and/or shape dimension of one or several ingredients in the foodstuff.The invention further relates to a foodstuff cooking system (100) comprising a package (10) as the one described and a cooking device (20). The invention further relates to a method of cooking a foodstuff using such system (100).

The capsule has an upper wall, a lower wall, and a side wall connecting the upper and lower walls, wherein the walls form an enclosure that contains the food substance. The capsule also has a sealed interface connecting the upper and lower walls and a liquid collecting cavity located between the side wall and sealed interface. The sealed interface is configured to open under a predetermined fluid pressure in the capsule to allow the food liquid to leave the capsule. Also, a method for preparing a food liquid from the capsule by passing water through the food substance using centrifugal forces for producing the food liquid.
