Abstract: A compact reaching device includes jaws and telescoping handles. The jaws are joined by a hinge pin and are biased towards a closed position. Legs extend opposite the jaws and squeezing the legs together opens the jaws. Telescoping handles are attached to each leg and may be extended opposite the jaws to allow reaching.
