    Abstract: The present application provides an electrode and a lithium-ion battery. The electrode comprises: a current collector; a first active material layer comprising a first active material; and a second active material layer comprising a second active material; wherein the first active material layer is arranged between the current collector and the second active material layer. The first active material layer is formed on at least one surface of the current collector, and a ratio of an average particle size of the second active material to an average particle size of the first active material is from 1:1 to 40:1. The active material layer is used in the present application to ensure that the lithium-ion battery does not generate a short circuit when pressed by an external force, thereby ensuring the mechanical safety performance of the lithium-ion battery.

    Abstract: This application relates to an electrochemical device and an electronic device containing same. The electrochemical device includes: a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, an adhesive layer, and a lithium compound layer. The negative electrode includes a negative active material layer. The separator is disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The adhesive layer is disposed between the negative active material layer and the separator. The lithium compound layer is disposed between the adhesive layer and the negative active material layer. The lithium compound layer includes at least one of lithium carbonate or lithium oxide. In this application, the adhesive layer is disposed between the separator and the negative electrode to effectively enhance the adhesive ability of the negative electrode to the separator after a lithium supplement process, alleviate deformation of the negative electrode due to volume expansion during charge-and-discharge cycles, and avoid detachment from the separator.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a cathode, an electrochemical device and an electronic device comprising the same. The cathode comprises: a cathode current collector; a first cathode active material layer, comprising a first cathode active material; and a second cathode active material layer, comprising a second cathode active material, wherein the first cathode active material layer is disposed between the cathode current collector and the second cathode active material layer, and the first cathode active material layer is formed on at least one surface of the cathode current collector; and wherein the second cathode active material is embedded in the first cathode active material layer and forms a continuous transition layer with the first cathode active material at an interface between the first cathode active material layer and the second cathode active material layer. The technique of firstly coating two active material layers and then performing cold pressing together is adopted to lower the probability of separation of the first cathode active material layer and the second cathode active material layer, thereby enhancing the safety performance of the electrochemical device.
