Abstract: A name data associating device according to one embodiment associates synonymous name data having different notation between a first database (DB) holding adjacency information and a second DB holding adjacency information and path identification information, and includes: a path information extraction unit that generates all paths having common data common between both DBs as a starting point and the name data in the second DB as vertices, and extracts path information of each path; a path creation unit that, based on the information held by the first DB, generates paths having the same conditions as the extracted path information of each path; and an associating unit that associates the name data between the first and second DBs by extracting, from the generated paths, a combination of paths having more vertices passed through and fewer overlapping parts, and associating the vertices of each extracted path with the vertices of each path generated by the path information extraction unit.

Abstract: There is provided a network management device (1) including a capacity management unit (10) for managing the capacity in a network to be managed and a storage unit (20) for storing management information. The storage unit stores specification information of entities included in the network, and entity information including information indicative of relationships between the entities. The capacity management unit 10 includes a capacity request acquisition section (11) which receives a generation request of a first entity; reads the specification information about the first entity from the storage unit, and determines whether or not the first entity needs to consume a resource; when it is determined that the first entity needs to consume a resource, identifies a second entity capable of providing capacity consumed by the first entity, based on the entity information stored in the storage unit; and outputs information about the identification result.

Abstract: A data search apparatus according to an embodiment includes: an input unit; and a storage apparatus configured to store master data names managed with master data. The data search apparatus calculates edit distances between master data names stored in the storage apparatus and input data names input in the input unit, calculates degrees of similarity between the master data names and the input data names based on term frequency and inverse document frequency of the master data names and the input data names, performs processing for narrowing down candidates for the data name being searched for in the master data names based on the calculation results and adjacency information indicating adjacency relationships between the master data names and the input data names, and outputs information indicating correspondence between the master data names and the input data names based on the candidate for the data name being searched for, the candidate for the data name being obtained through the narrowing-down processing.
