Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving at a head-mounted device a speech input from a user and a visual input captured by cameras of the head-mounted device, wherein the visual input comprises subjects and attributes associated with the subjects, and wherein the speech input comprises a co-reference to one or more of the subjects, resolving entities corresponding to the subjects associated with the co-reference based on the attributes and the co-reference, and presenting a communication content responsive to the speech input and the visual input at the head-mounted device, wherein the communication content comprises information associated with executing results of tasks corresponding to the resolved entities.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a multi-component application, including a first and second component, and a first and second server. The first component may be implemented at the first server, while a second component may be implemented at a client device. An end user of a client device may request access to metadata stored on the second server that is utilized by the second component to implement the multi-component application. The end user may authenticate with the first component. The first component may then communicate with the second server to authenticate the end user to the second server, thereby granting the end user access to the second server without having to reauthenticate to the second server.

Abstract: Systems, methods, devices, media, and computer-readable instructions are described for local image tagging and processing in a resource-constrained environment such as a mobile device. In some embodiments, characteristics associated with images are used to determine whether to store content (e.g., images and video clips) as ephemeral content or non-ephemeral content. Based on the determination, the image is stored in a non-ephemeral camera roll storage of the mobile device, or an ephemeral local application storage. Additional storage operations such as encryption or backup copying may additionally be determined and performed based on the analysis of the content. In some embodiments, such images may be indexed, sorted, and searched based on the image tagging operations used to characterize the content.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating synthetic video are disclosed. For example, the system may include one or more memory units storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may include generating a static background image and determining the location of a reference edge. The operations may include determining a perspective of an observation point. The operations may include generating synthetic difference images that include respective synthetic object movement edges. The operations may include determining a location of the respective synthetic object movement edge and generating adjusted difference images corresponding to the individual synthetic difference images. Adjusted difference images may be based on synthetic difference images, locations of the respective synthetic object movement edges, the perspective of the observation point, and the location of the reference edge. The operations may include generating texturized images based on the adjusted difference images.

Abstract: A content management system server can obtain a protocol based data transmission via a computer network from a script that executes at the publisher device server, and can obtain search result content items from an index of electronic documents that include snippets of text extracted from the search result content items and that include hypertext links to the search result content items. The system can extract feature vectors and document identifiers of the search result content items, and can determine information retrieval scores of search result content items. Based on the network identifier, location probabilities of device locations can be ranked and compared to thresholds. The system can determine a confidence threshold representing a minimum degree of certainty of the geographical location of the devices and can select content for protocol based transmission accordingly.
