摘要: A pressure control valve includes pressure modulating section and a magnetic section. The magnetic section has a cylindrical case, a coil assembly, a cylindrical core, a rod and a plunger. The plunger is made of thick magnetic material. At the center of the plunger, a cylindrical concave whose diameter is slightly larger than that of the cylindrical core is provided. The end of the cylindrical core composes an extrusion by extending from the coil assembly. A magnetic attractive section made up by the cylindrical concave of the plunger and the extrusion of the cylindrical core both of which are located vis-a-vis each other, and is located away from the pressure modulating section. Due to the above, when operation the plunger is efficiently magnetized and attracted to the extrusion of the core. And even if fluid leaks from the pressure modulating section, it is difficult for the fluid to reach the magnetic attractive section.

摘要: In a solenoid-operated pressure control valve having a pressure modulating section and a magnetic section, the pressure modulating section includes a valve sleeve having an application port, an output port, a feedback port having throttle passage, and a drain port, and a spool being movable in the valve sleeve; and the magnetic section includes a coil assembly and a rod. According to the above structure a force developed from the magnetic section, a force developed by a spring and an output pressure feedback force are applied and balanced, so that an application pressure is so modulated that the application pressure is taken out as an output pressure corresponding to input electric level to the magnetic section. Furthermore, the spool is made to have at least two lands neighboring on each other and to have different diameters, a feedback port which is directly connected to the area between the different diameters is made on the valve sleeve, and the output pressure is so feedbacked that its volume corresponds to the difference of diameters by applying the pressure from the output port.

Outer limbs of a disc type supporting members which are made of a leaf spring member are fixed to both ends of the cylindrical core, and both ends of the rod are suspended at the center of the disc type supporting members, so that the rod is supported by the disc type supporting members. Due to the above when operation, the move of the rod is performed smoothly by the supporting structure of the disc type supporting member, and the supporting member moves according to the move of the rod, so that such move of the rod brings about no volume change in the magnetic section.

摘要: A three-way solenoid valve consisting of a solenoid device portion 20 and a valve portion 40. The same solenoid device portion 20 is used whether the valve is normally open or normally closed. The solenoid device portion 20 comprises a plunger 23 driven by a solenoid coil 27, a sleeve 26 guiding the plunger, a yoke 32 fitted over the sleeve, a push rod 24 mounted to the plunger. The valve portion 40 comprises an inner base 46 having a valve seat, an outer base 42 having a second valve seat, and a ball 48 mounted between the valve seats. The inner base is mounted on the outer base. The front end of the push rod can bear against the ball. The outer base 42 bears against the yoke 32.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a fixing device. The fixing device includes a rotatable endless fixing member, a nip forming member arranged inside the fixing member, a pressing member in contact with the nip forming member via the fixing member, and a heating source configured to heat the fixing member. When an abnormality occurs in at least one of the fixing device and other devices included in the image forming apparatus, a rotation of the fixing member is stopped prior to stopping a rotation driving of a discharging unit and, after stopping, the fixing member is controlled to rotate.

摘要: A fixing device includes a fixing rotary body rotatable in a given direction of rotation and a heater disposed opposite the fixing rotary body to heat the fixing rotary body. A pressing rotary body contacts the fixing rotary body to form a fixing nip therebetween through which a recording medium is conveyed. A separator is disposed downstream from the fixing nip in a recording medium conveyance direction to separate the recording medium from one of the fixing rotary body and the pressing rotary body. The separator includes a separation plate including an upstream portion disposed opposite the fixing nip and at least one slot disposed downstream from the upstream portion in the recording medium conveyance direction.

A slide sheet is sandwiched between the nip formation pad and the endless belt and is a twill fabric containing a lubricant. The slide sheet includes a first sheet contacting the nip formation pad and including a first gutter defined by a first twill line in a first direction angled relative to the direction of rotation of the endless belt and a second sheet layered on the first sheet and contacting the endless belt. The second sheet includes a second gutter defined by a second twill line in a second direction angled relative to the direction of rotation of the endless belt.

摘要: A fixing device includes at least one heater disposed opposite an inner circumferential surface of an endless rotary body to heat the endless rotary body and a shield interposed between the endless rotary body and the at least one heater to shield the endless rotary body from heat radiated from the at least one heater. A first size recording medium passes over a first passage region of the endless rotary body and a second size recording medium passes over a second passage region of the endless rotary body. The shield includes a notch disposed opposite a lateral end of the second passage region of the endless rotary body in an axial direction thereof. The lateral end of the second passage region overlaps a non-passage region of the endless rotary body in the axial direction thereof where the first size recording medium does not pass.

摘要: A fixing device that fixes an image on a recording medium includes a rotatable endless belt, deployed in a loop supported by rollers, a nip forming member provided inside the loop formed by the belt, a support member that supports the nip forming member, a counter rotation body disposed outside the loop formed by the belt and configured to form a nip with the belt by being in contact with the nip forming member through the belt, and a heat source configured to heat the belt directly by a radiant heat except at the nip. The support member includes a base portion that contacts the nip forming member and two arms extending from the base portion in a direction away from the nip forming member to partially surround a part of heat generating portion of the heat source.

摘要: A fixing device comprises a rotatable fixing member to apply heat to a recording medium bearing an unfixed image thereon, a heat source to heat the fixing member, and a rotatable pressing member pressing against the fixing member forming a nip therebetween. A driving source rotates and drives the fixing member and the pressing member. An overheat safety device has a relay to open and close a power supply path connected to the heat source. A temperature detector is connected to both the relay and the control unit to detect temperature of the fixing member. The overheat safety device turns off the relay and cuts off power supply to the heat source when the fixing member is overheated. The fixing member is allowed to radiate heat and cool down when the temperature detected by the temperature detector is more than a prescribed level.
