摘要： A camera has a motor, a camera mechanism driven by rotation of the motor, a detector for detecting the rotation direction of the motor, and a controller for driving the camera mechanism by energizing the motor in such a way that the motor rotates in a forward direction. To stop the motor, the controller energizes the motor in such a way that the motor rotates in a reverse direction and then, in response to a rotation direction inversion detecting output fed from the detector, energizes the motor in such a way that the motor rotates in the forward direction again for a predetermined period of time.

摘要： An IC card suitably adapted to a camera as a small size device and a camera to which such IC card can be mounted appropriately. The IC card is formed as a rectangular plate of a size of about 20 mm.times.30 mm to 40 mm.times.60 mm so that it may be mounted on a camera. Contents of the IC card are or can be indicated on a front surface of the IC card. A plurality of connecting terminals for electric connection to a camera are disposed in a row on a rear surface along an edge of the IC card. A camera for use with such IC card has an IC card accommodating means provided thereon. Where the camera is a single lens reflex camera, the means may be located sidewardly of a pentagonal roof prism accommodating section on the top of the camera and include a lid member for opening or closing a card accommodating section thereof. The means may be located otherwise on the bottom or a rear lid of the camera and include a member mounted for movement between a position accommodated in the camera and another position projecting from the camera.

摘要： A camera system wherein a card accommodating device can be mounted on a body of a camera without increasing the overall size of the camera body and without deteriorating the appearance and convenience in use of the camera. The card accommodating device is mounted on the camera body for pivotal motion from and to a position at which it is fitted in a recessed spacing formed rearwardly of a battery accommodating chamber and sidewardly of a take-up spool chamber of the camera body. The card accommodating device at the position forms part of a side wall of the camera body. The card accommodating device comprises an outer lid unit for removably accommodating an IC card therein, and an inner lid unit mounted for movement and releasably arrested on the outer lid unit and having switch elements and electric signal transmitting contacts located thereon.

摘要： A cartridge holder being movable between a cartridge accommodating position where it is concealed within a camera body and a projecting position where it is exposed outside the camera body has a lower supporting member at its bottom for driving a film spool in a film cartridge inserted through an opening into the cartridge holder by engaging a lower end of the film spool, and an upper supporting member for engaging an upper end of the film spool. The upper supporting member is moved between its retracted position where it is retracted from the opening of the cartridge holder and its engaged position where it engages the film spool, its movement interconnecting with the movement of the cartridge holder between its cartridge accommodating and projecting positions.

摘要： In an imaging apparatus with a shake correction function, the influence of front curtain shock is prevented from being exerted on a shake correction function section (shake correction drive). The imaging apparatus includes a shake detection sensor 171 that detects an amount of shake applied to a digital camera, a shake correction unit 200 that performs a shake correction drive of an imaging device 101 on the basis of a shake amount detection signal, a shutter unit 40 that is arranged immediately in front of the imaging device 101 and performs an optical-path opening operation and an optical-path blocking operation for opening and blocking an optical path of light guided to the imaging device 101, a timing control circuit 51 that supplies a predetermined reset signal to each pixel for each predetermined pixel line so as to start exposure on the imaging device 101, and a shutter control section 623 that controls exposure of the imaging device 101. At the time of shooting, the shutter control section 623 executes an electronic shutter control (electronic focal plane shutter) for starting exposure on the imaging device 101 by means of the reset signal supplied to each pixel from the timing control circuit 51.

摘要： An apparatus is provided with a movable cartridge casing capable of facilitating film cartridge loading and unloading operations. In a loading operation, the cartridge casing is positioned at a cartridge receiving position outside the body of the apparatus so that the film cartridge can easily be inserted in the cartridge casing, the cartridge casing containing the film cartridge is pushed into the body to an intermediate position where the film spool of the film cartridge is separated from a spool driving shaft, and then the cartridge casing is moved toward the spool driving shaft along a line substantially parallel to the axis of the spool driving shaft to bring the film spool into engagement with the spool driving shaft. In an unloading operation, the cartridge casing is moved away from the spool driving shaft to the intermediate position along the line substantially parallel to the axis of the spool driving shaft to separate the film spool from the spool driving shaft, and then the cartridge casing is moved to the cartridge receiving position outside the body.
