摘要: A solid-state imaging device having a pixel array section in which pixels including photoelectric conversion elements are arranged in a matrix form, and sweeping out unnecessary charges by setting a predetermined number, two or more, of adjacent rows or a predetermined number, two or more, of adjacent columns, in the pixel array section, to a single group, and by applying a shutter pulse in units of groups before storing signal charges, and sequentially reading the signal charges in the units of groups. In the solid-state imaging device, a pre-shutter pulse is applied to pixels belonging to at least a single row or a single column within a succeeding group and adjacent to a preceding group, prior to the shutter pulse, before a reading timing for the preceding group, to sweep out unnecessary charges stored in the pixels.

摘要: A partitioning plate, that is positioned between a jet pump and a main suction, is set within a reserve cup of a fuel tank, so as to separate an interior of the reserve cup into a fuel feed-out chamber in which the main suction is disposed, and a fuel introducing chamber in which the jet pump is disposed. The partitioning plate is disposed at an incline with respect to a vehicle longitudinal direction. In cases in which acceleration in any of a forward direction, a rearward direction, a leftward direction and a rightward direction of a vehicle acts on fuel within the reserve cup, some of fuel within the fuel introducing chamber flows into the fuel feed-out chamber. A fuel tank structure is provided that can reliably ensure fuel within the fuel feed-out chamber in a case in which acceleration arises at fuel within a fuel accommodating portion.

摘要: A packaging structure of planographic printing plates and an internal packaging material for the plates, which reliably protect the planographic printing plates from an external force, and which block the plates from light and keep the plates free from moisture; wherein the internal packaging material and an external packaging material are easily recycled. A stack of the planographic printing plates is internally packaged in the internal packaging material, whose light transmittance is a predetermined value or lower, and the stack is further packaged in the external packaging material. Light coming from the exterior of the closed external packaging material to the interior thereof becomes faint, and moreover, the planographic printing plates are prevented from accidental exposure due to a light-blocking property of the internal packaging material. In order to more reliably protect the planographic printing plates, the external packaging material has a predetermined strength, and further has a buffering property against changes in temperature and humidity.

摘要: A packaging box is formed by a bottom surface member disposed at the side of a bottom surface of goods to be packaged, and a top surface member disposed at the side of a top surface of the goods to be packaged. The bottom surface member includes a base panel, side panels formed extending integrally from the base panel and further shaped to correspond to side surfaces of the goods to be packaged. An attachment panel extends integrally from the end of each side panel. The top surface member and base panel typically include corrugations. The corrugations in each item are preferably oriented generally transverse to one another, thereby increasing the strength of the structure without requiring additional material.

摘要: Vanes (73) are provided on the outer peripheries of both surfaces of an impeller in a circumferential direction, and vane grooves (72) are provided between the vanes. The vane grooves are formed to be curvilinear as viewed from a radial cross section. Also, connections of the vane grooves (72) with end surfaces (74) of the vanes are formed to be curvilinear as viewed from a circumferential cross section, and portions which extend from a forward side of a direction of rotation toward the connections are formed to be curvilinear. Communication holes (76) are formed forwardly or rearwardly of the vane grooves in the direction of rotation to allow communication between the vane grooves on both surfaces. An opening of the vane grooves is formed into various shapes, for example, straight in a radial direction, curved in the direction of rotation, or inclined in the direction of rotation.
