    摘要: A liquid ejecting head includes a flow passage formation section and a sealing section. The flow passage formation section includes a plurality of nozzle openings, ejecting liquid therefrom, a plurality of pressure generation parts, corresponding to the nozzle openings respectively, a plurality of liquid supply passages, communicating with the pressure generation parts respectively for supplying liquid thereto, and a plurality of partition wall parts, each separating one liquid supply passage and its corresponding pressure generation part from another liquid supply passage and its corresponding pressure generation part. The sealing section seals the flow passage formation section. The partition wall parts respectively include liquid supply passage partition wall parts which separate adjacent liquid supply passages. The sealing section has a thick part and a thin part. The sealing section which seals an area of the partition wall parts and the liquid supply passage of the flow passage formation section has a thick part and a thin part.

The liquid container includes a liquid storage section that stores liquid, an air communication section that allows the liquid storage section and an outside of the liquid container to communicate with each other, a bubble separation unit that separates bubbles from the liquid, a communication path that allows the bubble separation unit and the liquid storage section to communicate with each other and has at one end thereof an exit connected to the bubble separation unit and at the other end thereof an entrance connected to the liquid storage section, the exit having a cross section whose area continuously increases toward the bubble separation unit, a liquid supply unit through which the liquid is supplied to the liquid ejecting apparatus, and a detection unit that is connected to the liquid supply unit and the bubble separation unit and detects an amount of the liquid stored in the liquid container.

    摘要: A liquid cartridge has a container main body detachably mounted to a cartridge mounting section of a liquid consuming apparatus. The container main body includes a case main body having a liquid reservoir and a cover that covers one side of the case main body; a board mounting section provided on an outer side of the container main body, for mounting a circuit board having an information storage element, the board mounting section having a pair of board fixing bosses to be fitted in the mounting holes of the circuit board to locate the circuit board, and four guide walls provided on the peripheral four sides of the circuit board located by the pair of board fixing bosses. The three guide walls of the four guide walls that constitute the board mounting section form a substantially U-shaped opening that is open to the cover on the outer side of the case main body, and the other guide wall is at a rim of the cover. The center wall of the three guide walls facing the guide wall on the cover side has a pair of notches at both ends. The pair of board fixing bosses is disposed at the positions on the outer surface of the case main body facing the pair of notches.
