摘要： An image processing apparatus includes an overwriter, an area storage, and a controller. The overwriter overwrites a plurality of images over another image by performing a transparent process in a writing order from one of the plurality of images disposed uppermost. The area storage stores areas in each of which each of the plurality of images is written by the overwriter. The controller controls the overwriter so as to write the plurality of images such that, when each of the plurality of images is written in the writing order, the areas of the plurality of images do not overlap with the areas already stored by the area storage.

摘要： There is provided a printing device which comprises a print data receiving unit, a transparent property judgment unit, a transparency processing unit, a transparency processing buffer which stores the transparency-processed data generated in the transparency processing, an image data generating unit configured to generate image data based on at least one of the transparency-processed data and the objects, an image data storage control unit, a print engine, and an object placement judgment unit which regards the page memory as a set of bands defined as prescribed areas and judges in which bands each of the objects is to be placed by use of the objects. The transparency processing unit judges whether to execute the transparency processing for a band based on whether the band is judged by the object placement judgment unit to have at least a part of a transparent object.

The index image data and associating file information are allocated to a plurality of arrangement sections. The index image data and associating file information may be printed on a printing sheet in accordance with a predetermined layout. A judging unit is provided to judge whether the associating file information is less than or equal to a predetermined length. The associating file information which is longer than the predetermined length is normally printed incompletely so as to be printed within the arrangement section. A layout modifying unit is provided to modify the predetermined layout for the arrangement section if the associating file information is longer than the predetermined length so that the associating file information is printed completely on the printing sheet.

The determining unit determines whether or not the first file is a distinguishable file. The distinguishable file is distinguishable from the second file based on the first additional information and the second additional information. The creating unit creates index data based on determination made by the determining unit. The index data includes first indicative data corresponding to the first file and second indicative data corresponding to the second file. The outputting unit outputs index image based on the index data.
