摘要： To start an ethanol fueled engine at low temperatures, a valve directs liquid ethanol from the carburetor accelerator pump to a PTC thermistor grid disposed in the engine induction passage below the throttle. The electric grid evaporates the liquid ethanol to provide sufficient ethanol vapor to start the engine and then is deenergized when the engine has started.
