    Abstract: A media processing device has a roller conveying section having an upper conveying guide that is electrically non-conductive, and forms one side surface of a bank note conveying path, and has an internal space; a frame that is electrically conductive and holds the upper conveying guide; a pushing spring that applies pushing force that urges pushing rollers toward driving rollers; and a supporting point shaft that is electrically conductive, and whose position in a front-rear direction is positioned by the upper conveying guide in vicinities of both end portions in a length direction of the supporting point shaft, and that supports the pushing spring in a vicinity of a central portion in the length direction, and that abuts laterally long upper end surfaces of the frame by receiving reaction force that arises in a direction of separating from the bank note conveying path in accordance with the pushing force.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a medium conveyance device whose reliability is enhanced. Namely, a roller conveyance section uses support parts to couple together an upper side shaft, which receives a first reaction force produced in accordance with a first contact-pressure force that urges first driven rollers toward first drive rollers, and a lower side shaft, which receives a second reaction force produced in accordance with a second contact-pressure force that urges second driven rollers toward second drive rollers. Because of this, the medium conveyance device of the present invention may cancel out the two reaction forces that cause an upper side guide and a lower side guide to bend in two bank note conveyance paths adjacent to one another.

    Abstract: Provided is a money processing device whereby it is possible to alleviate a deterioration in security when a storage unit is extracted. A money processing device comprises: a deposit/withdrawal part which is disposed upon one end side of a device main body in the longitudinal direction which faces a customer, and whereby money is either deposited or withdrawn; and storage units which are disposed to be removable with respect to the device main body and which store money. The storage units are extracted from the device main body at a location which is removed from the customer.
