    Abstract: An ultrasonic treatment tool includes: an ultrasonic oscillator in which a plurality of piezoelectric elements configured to generate ultrasonic oscillation are arranged along a longitudinal axis direction of the ultrasonic oscillator, the ultrasonic oscillator being configured to transmit the ultrasonic oscillation from a proximal end side to a distal end side of the ultrasonic oscillator; a contact receiver configured to transmit power and a control signal to the ultrasonic oscillator; and a floating structure configured to suppress transmission of ultrasonic oscillation generated by the ultrasonic oscillator to the contact receiver or dampen the ultrasonic oscillation.

    Abstract: A treatment instrument includes a rotating body and a housing. The rotating body includes a connecting portion including: a supported portion having a cylindrical outer peripheral surface, and an engaged portion that is adjacent to the supported surface. The housing includes a supporting portion that is configured to support the supported portion of the rotating body, the supporting portion being rotatable around a predetermined rotation axis; and an engaging portion that is configured to generate a frictional force larger than a frictional force between the supporting portion and the supported portion by coming into contact with the engaged portion.

    Abstract: In a treatment instrument, one of a pair of jaws is supported by a supporter while being pivot able around the supporter with respect to the supporter. A drive member moves along a longitudinal axis so that the pair of the jaws are closed with respect to each other, thereby applying an axial force onto an elongated member from the drive member by way of the one of the jaws and the supporter in a direction along the longitudinal axis. A contact surface of the elongated member abuts on a housing when the elongated member moves with respect to the housing under the axial force, thereby suppressing rotation of the elongated member around the longitudinal axis with respect to the housing.
