Abstract: A treatment system includes a treatment tool and a generator. The treatment tool includes a first grasper configured to apply treatment energy to a living tissue, and a second grasper. The generator includes a power circuit, a detecting circuit configured to detect an index value indicating a treatment state of a test material, and a processor configured to, based on the index value, measure a treatment completion time. At least one of the treatment tool and the generator further includes a memory configured to store property data which indicates a property of the test material, and based on the measured treatment completion time, the intensity of the treatment energy applied to the test material, and the property data, the processor is configured to calculate a control parameter related to the intensity of the treatment energy when the living tissue is treated, and output the control parameter to the power circuit.

Abstract: In a treatment instrument, a shaft is rotatable around a predetermined rotation axis relative to the housing, and an end effector is bendably or curvably attached to the shaft. In the treatment instrument, an interlocking member is provided independently of the shaft, and a receiver is provided in such a manner that rotation of the receiver relative to the housing is restricted or that rotation of the receiver relative to the shaft is restricted. The interlocking member moves in conjunction with bending or curving movement of the end effector so that the receiver engages with the interlocking member, thereby preventing rotation of the shaft around the predetermined rotation axis.

Abstract: In a surgical treatment instrument, a probe extending in a longitudinal axial direction is inserted through a sheath, and each of sheath components, in the sheath, is divided from a neighboring sheath component at a dividing plane along the longitudinal axial direction. A flow of liquid to a proximal side in an inside of the sheath is prevented by a first seal portion. In a divided part between each of the sheath components and the neighboring sheath component, liquid-tight is kept by the second seal portion, and thereby a flow of the liquid to the proximal side is prevented.
