Abstract: A medical display apparatus includes: a display unit configured to display an endoscope image; at least one video signal input circuit to which video signals related to the endoscope image can be inputted from an external medical instrument; a video processing circuit configured to generate a video reflecting a display setting specified for each of the video signals; and first and second processors, the first processor determines an endoscope type based on a mask pattern of the endoscope image related to each of the inputted video signals, and the second processor designates a display set value for each of video signals related to different endoscope images to the video processing circuit according to a determination result.

Abstract: An image recording apparatus includes a first processing section that encodes an inputted medical image based on setting information and outputs a first encode result, a second processing section that encodes the inputted medical image based on the setting information and outputs a second encode result, a setting section that retains the setting information, and a control section that controls, based on the setting information corresponding to an operation signal generated based on an output signal of an electric knife, an operation signal obtained by an endoscope that generates a medical image, or an operation signal for designating a medical case scene, the first and second processing sections to output at least one of the first and second encode results and determines a recording destination of the first and second encode results based on the setting information corresponding to the operation signal.

Abstract: A three-dimensional image system includes a monitor that displays an image signal as an image for three-dimensional observation, glasses for three-dimensional observation for observing, as a three-dimensional image, the image for three-dimensional observation displayed on a display section of the monitor, a storing section that is provided in the glasses for three-dimensional observation and stores an image parameter correction value for three-dimensional observation for correcting image parameters for three-dimensional observation for giving a cubic effect of the image for three-dimensional observation displayed on the display section, a scanning section that scans the glasses for three-dimensional observation in order to read information stored in the storing section, and a control section that performs control to set, according to a scanning result of the scanning section, the image parameter correction value for three-dimensional observation in the monitor.

Abstract: A stereoscopic endoscopic image processing apparatus includes: a synchronization adjustment portion that performs a synchronization adjustment between a left-eye image signal and a right-eye image signal; an image analysis portion that analyzes a region that an image of a treatment instrument occupies in a peripheral region around a central region in an image of one image signal; a blur region setting portion that, with respect to the image in the peripheral region around the central region in which blur processing is not performed, sets a region in which to perform blur processing in accordance with an analysis result of the image analysis portion; and an image compositing portion that composites and outputs a 3D image with respect to which blur processing is performed on the left-eye image and the right-eye image, respectively, in accordance with a setting result of the blur region setting portion.
